Felix quickly made his way to the armory with the other cadets. In a few minutes, they found themselves in front of a large warehouse that easily surpassed two football fields in size. The warehouse was guarded by a team of guards 24/7 and had only one entrance where a certain level of clearance was needed. The headmaster smiled at the eager expressions of his students and quickly opened the large door that resembled a gate. As the door slowly pulled itself up and wind rushed out from the warehouse, the headmaster grinned and declared, "Pick whatever you want, cadets! Whatever you're comfortable with, whether that's five machine guns or double swords. Anything is possible; I just hope you take into consideration your body's limits!"

The cadets grinned at the headmaster's advice and quickly rushed in like a stampede. Students were looking for anything that tickled their fancy, and unique combinations and teams started to form. Felix noticed that one team only picked cold weapons, with their leader choosing a sword while his teammates had other cold weapons. One had a pair of daggers and a large arsenal of throwable weapons, another had a spear, another had a large war axe, and the last one had double blades. Another team had different rifles, from the standard peacemaker to the ancient AK-47. This seemed to be the standard, as the other teams followed a similar pattern of a single main weapon and a smaller secondary. However, one captain had loaded himself with weapons. He had a total of four primary weapons along with three secondary weapons. Hidden across his armor were multiple cold throwable weapons like knives and even wires. After a short half-hour, Felix was the last one left to pick from the armory.

He had already taken a look through the entire armory and decided on his choice of weapons. First, he decided to have the peacemaker for his primary, a futuristic assault rifle that could fire projectiles at an insane rate of fire. For his secondary, he chose a small semi-automatic pistol that held a magazine of 12 bullets, a G-13. Then, he attached a small pouch with various throwing knives and thin wires. He had a plan for them, and the thought just got him excited! Felix's mouth curved upward and his eyes narrowed; his smile couldn't keep his devious chuckle in, and he let out a hearty laugh. However, that only earned him scorn and annoyance from the fellow cadets. It was an open secret that Felix had gotten in through connections, and for those that put hard work into their enrollments, it thoroughly pissed them off. As Felix gathered his weapons, the captains began to plan their attack.

One of the captains glared at Felix one last time before he left the armory with his group. Another smiled slightly, although his eyes were icy cold and narrowed. His eyes resembled those of a predator that had found its prey. Another simply ignored Felix and instead scouted the other teams. The second-to-last smiled slightly and decided to put a plan he had in action and quickly made his way to the last group. These two groups were the oddballs of the cadets; one was the captain who hoarded weapons, while the other was the group of oddballs with cold weapons.

"Hehe, Lexi, why don't we team up?" a young man with a mountain of weapons asked the captain of the cold weapon team. Lexi, a talented and sought-after cadet with exceptional skills and mind, looked at the young man with a glare, although she didn't immediately brush him off.

"Leon, what do you mean team up?"

"It's quite self-explanatory. We should team up and help each other out. Of course, we should also take care of that eyesore."

"I almost forgot you were an idiot. Very well, I'll agree to a non-aggression pact, although I won't agree to an alliance."

"Aww, that's too bad. Well, I'll take what I can get. I just hope your morality won't make you forget our agreement." Leon quickly left the armory with a satisfied smile and a wave of his hand overhead. Lexi, on the other hand, narrowed her eyes even more and concluded Leon was a greater threat than she had thought. She quickly raised her fist and her group quickly moved out, following her.

Felix and the others found themselves aboard a small vessel. These vessels had the only means of Slayer deployment, the Bunkers. These were small, heavily fortified pods that were crashed into the surface from the vessel. Everyone was now inside one of these Bunkers, and the headmaster began his countdown before the mission started.

"5, remember a map of the area will be provided through your visor; simply give the command for it.

4, don't die; we aren't gods and can't bring the dead back to life.

3, in the case of extreme difficulty, reinforcements can be deployed by the needed command.

2, resupply Bunkers can be deployed by the correct command.

1, a strike of extreme force can be deployed through commands; however, for this exercise, it will be restricted.

Now, begin the training!"

Suddenly, all 26 Bunkers shot out from the vessel that stood just above Pangea's atmosphere. They began to head into the atmosphere as fire began to form around the Bunkers. The fire burned the Bunkers, yet its heat never reached the Slayer Cadets. Finally, the sounds of loud thumps and crashes rang out through the canyon, and they slowly made their way out of the pods. However, not everything was as smooth as it seemed to be. Felix, along with five others, began to experience nausea and body pains from the rough trip down.

However, even with the world twisting and his body aching, he forced himself to move away from the initial landing zone and ran to a nearby cave. Felix was anything but stupid, so he could tell some were dissatisfied with his enrollment, and he doubted all of them could control their emotions. His worries proved to be justified as Leon, along with his group, made his way to Felix's Bunker to inspect his landing, out of kindness of course.
