Waking Up In The Morning, What A Beautiful Day!

When I awoke, Miku was lying beside me on our bed. The sun's rays shone on my face through the window curtains, signaling that it was now morning.

Since there are no important events for today, I decided not to awaken Miku from her slumber.

As I decided that, I opened the window and took a glimpse outside as I marvel at the view of this medieval fantasy world.

"It's a beautiful day outside. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming... on days like these, a man like me SHOULD BE SPENDING TIME WITH MIKU!"

I said to myself as I bathe in the sunlight just after waking up like a madman.

Only madmen open their windows in the morning and take a bath in the sunlight. Then again, I wasn't sane, to begin with.

As I thought of that, I noticed that outside, some villagers were fixing the damages on the streets that were caused by the cricket fureizu.

I also noticed that some guild members were patrolling the streets to avoid any fureizu attacks on the general public. They wouldn't be able to do anything even if they went up against a fureizu unless they were a court mage or a captain of the royal army.

That was the harsh truth. Those adventurers who had hopes and dreams of striking it rich were thwarted by their insufficient strength. It wasn't as if it had anything to do with me.

Anything that doesn't bother Miku doesn't bother me as well. I wouldn't care about some nobodies, but if they were the protagonist and side characters in this world, I might reconsider.

When it comes to protagonists, was Touya awake? It didn't really matter. I'll just check after Miku wakes up from her sleep.

After a few minutes, I noticed Miku showing signs of awakening, so I waited for her. I stood guard and dared not leave her side, especially since she was defenseless.

Miku dragged herself out of bed and sat on it, rubbing her sleepy eyes. Miku had been awakened by the sunlight that had entered through the window curtains.

"Good morning, Miku."

"Good morning, Katake."

We exchanged good mornings as I walked over to Miku's side and kissed her on the lips. Of course, Miku didn't object because she had already agreed to let me do whatever I wanted to her the night before.

Miku and I changed into new clothes that were the same as the clothes we had worn before after we finished kissing and hugging each other. I programmed my laptop to affect reality using only control commands, thanks to my divine laptop and Z++.

So, after copying Miku and my clothes with control C, I pasted all of the copied clothes into our closet with control V. While some of the clothing is still in my system inventory

I had also given Miku a set of her clothes to keep in her storage space. Miku appeared to have storage space and other abilities that Zenchi-san bestowed upon her, and I didn't question her about it because as long as it could help her, I wouldn't complain.

So, after waking up and stretching, Miku and I went downstairs to eat breakfast.

ShadowKatake's Note: Should I stop updating this? I noticed from the daily stats of this fanfic that it doesn't increase that much and on some days, it lowers drastically. So I'm asking whether to continue or not since some of you might no longer have any interest in it.

And I'm not dropping this fanfic, just stop updating in any writing platform. So I'll keep writing only for my eyes if my fanfic doesn't interest you guys.
