A Shocking Breakthrough 2

As Aiden and the rest of the class made their way to the combat arena which was in another building.

Mark who was next to Aiden, started talking to him about his second circle.

"Hey man!, are you sure you want to reveal such a thing right now?, this will definitely put a target on your back, not saying that you don't have one but it will increase for sure." said Mark, as he stared at Aiden, who was his best friend, in fact brother would be more appropriate to call him.

"Yes Aiden, Mark is right are you sure you want to do this?" said Lena in a worried tone.

"Guys calm down, don't get too worried. It's not that big of a deal, plus it's just a 5 connection point second circle . It's not a 9th circle like mentioned in the old books." Said Aiden, in his mind thinking about the statue who is going to come after him in the next 6 months.

It's good that I did not tell them about my encounter with the statue and its main body coming after me, otherwise they might have fainted. Thought Aiden, as he smiled wryly.

Lena reluctantly stopped talking about it, though her brow remained furrowed with concern. "Just be careful, okay? We don't want anything happening to you."

As they continued walking, the combat arena came into view—a grand structure of hybrid stone and steel, its entrance flanked by statues of legendary warriors from the academy's storied history. The sight of it always sent a thrill through Aiden, a reminder of the countless battles fought and victories won within its walls.

Entering the combat arena, Aiden saw many students in the spectator seats. "Hey guys, don't you think there is way too many people here spectating? is there going to be a duel soon?"

"I am not quite sure, maybe there is a duel soon I guess" said Mark, shrugging his shoulders.

"Look guys, Aiden is here. Do you think he will actually get caught for trying to cheat his teacher?" said one of the spectators.

"I personally do not think so, based on my impression of Aiden he wouldn't do such a thing. It's so easy to get caught lying if he did and I do not think he is that stupid" said another person.

"Well I guess we will see now, im going to record the whole thing hehe"

As Aiden listened to what the spectators were saying, he had a realisation. "So someone must have said I will get caught cheating, hehe." Aiden said in low tone.

"Well, I have an idea on who it could be, but whatever let him do his little tricks. He just gave me more fame and prestige I guess" said Aiden whilst smiling at these futile tricks.

As Aiden, walked towards the centre of the arena. Elena said "Attention everyone, recording what will happen next is not allowed." 

"If anyone in this place, is caught recording what is about to happen. They will face major consequences including exclusion from the academy, a potential jail sentence and a fine." 

"I will use a magic spell right now that will interfere with your devices, if I feel any disturbance to my spell. That person, will face my wrath and the punishments I spoke about earlier understood!" said Elena, as she activated her magic ability.

"Damn it, why is she doing this. Isn't this guy meant to be just caught cheating in his exam. Why is she being so secretive about it for?" said the student that wanted to record earlier.

"Alright guy's, today im going to show you something you have never seen before." said Aiden.

"Today, I will introduce the first 5 connection point magic second circle."

After Aiden said that, the people couldn't hold themselves. Everyone started expressing their shock and disbelief. Some even started making fun of Aiden for being bold enough to say such a thing.

"SILENT!!" Said Elena with her voice magnified with sound magic.

Everyone in the crowds stopped talking. Not even a whisper came out of their mouth.

"Please continue what you were saying Aiden, they are just a bunch of fools who don't understand magic" 

"Thanks Ms Elena, As you guys all know magic circles are divided into 9 circles. Each circle has power tiers, these tiers are differentiated by the amount of connection points the circle has, with 1 being the lowest and most basic and 4 being the highest, at least before I introduce the first 5 connection point magic circle to you." said Aiden, whilst holding his a rune that contained the second circle.

"As you all know, magic circles can be made in 2 ways. First way, is inscribing it into a rune, however this isn't usually used as it takes too long to inscribe which will make it useless in a battle to death. That doesn't mean its useless, as this is the only way you can teach people how runes work and memorise it, this way also helps people with memorising the runes so they can use it the second way. The second way is by memorising the rune in your mind, and just using your magic to cast it out, this way is harder than the first way as you cannot make a mistake in the rune, so you will need to memorise the entire rune plus cast it out in details which will be hard." said Aiden, explaining how runes work.

"Today, I will be using the first way, this will help everyone here see and understand how this circle works." 

"First things first, the 4 point circle is usually drawn with a circle, 4 connection points drawn symmetrically on the circumference of the circle, and your element of choice in the middle of the circle. However, with the 5 point circle its quite different, the circle will have 3 connection points on its circumference, with 2 surrounding your element in the middle"

"Some might say, why is there 2 points surrounding your element and not one. Well, it is actually quite simple, the reason why there is 2 points surrounding your element of choice is because a 5 points circle is highly destructive, it bring out almost 2 to 3 times the output of a 4 point circle, so 2 points must be used near your element to stabilise it and keep in equilibrium." 

"The rest is the same as other circle, you will have to connect the points together which will be very difficult even to experts in the field, so it will take some time before you see this sold in quantity in rune shops" 

"Next I will show you guys, how the rune is used and its power output." Said Aiden.
