The Beginning of the End... Maybe...

A/N: So here it is... the first chapter/prologue of the fic that I said back in Souls Hero Academia I would write. Short one, but it's still just a prologue.

Anyway, timeline is during the clash of All For One and All Might, I say during cause canon will be reduced to atoms in a moment.

All Might was not having a good time, and so are the other people watching the live broadcast with his fight against All For One, his arch-nemesis. He was beaten, bruised, wounded, and most of all, reduced to his true form.

The efforts of all the other Heroes all around him attacking All For One in the air turning to naught as with a swipe of his hand and a twist of his neck reduces the flames of Endeavor to embers and dodges a lunge attack from Edgeshot.

"Enough with the sentiment talk, let's talk reality," All For One's voice was tiny, but heard all throughout the devastated area of Kamino Ward. His arm turning into a mess with dangerous cracks and crevices, organic and inorganic objects lining up and bulging outward. "But now, to make sure I kill you, with this combination of the strongest, most suitable quirks that I have put together…"

All Might looked up, a face full of determination as he made eye contact with his adversary.

"I. Will. Strike. You. Down."

AFO charged from the air, his bulging mass of an arm cocked back, ready to meet All Might's face. All Might responded with a move of his own, rearing in his own bulging right arm back in an attempt to get even.

"Midoriya Izuku," AFO stated as he came down. "He's the one you transferred it to, right? Without any qualifications, he still came here… It's as if he's not able to control himself."

AFO grinned under his mask.

"Let's make sure he dies feeling every bit of regret, All Might."

The punches landed and a huge cloud of smoke and debris exploded outward, encompassing the entirety of the devastated area of Kamino Ward.

'Impact Reversal,' AFO had his secret trump card ready and waiting for All Might. It would've gone according to plan, but he miscalculated All Might's resolve.

"To go to such unsightly lengths to fight against it, I miscalculated…"

SMASH!

All Might's left hand impacted AFO's cheek with great vigor, but with disappointing results.

"Shallow," AFO taunted back, his faceless visage a reminder as to what All Might failed to do in the past.

"That's because I didn't put my back into it!" All Might roared and punched AFO with his last smash.

"UNITED STATES OF SMAS—"

At least… that is what would've happened if a giant figure didn't descend from the sky to interrupt the battle.

"BOW BEFORE ME MORTALS! I AM HERE!"

A few minutes earlier…

Aurelion Sol was busy minding his own business in the vast cosmos around Runeterra, doing some hoops, flinging stars around, all the while making some plan to have Targon be subjected to his Starfire.

"Boop…"

He flung a star, making it collide with another one, resulting in a brilliant explosion, one that formed another new star.

"Boop…"

He made a ring of stars and twirled it around, making it an impromptu hula hoop. He then rearranged them and fired them out into the vast cosmos, creating another constellation where mortals studying Astronomy would flock over.

"Boop…"

He then made another star and had it fly towards Runeterra, a little bit for kicks and giggles since he wanted some mortals to react to a shooting star within their atmosphere.

"… Ahhh… How I satisfy myself with a bore of activities, I'll never know…" Aurelion Sol turned belly up – though, in space, there was no up or down – and manifested some shades as he made more stars and had them rotate in blindingly fast speeds in front of him. Though the activities he meant were not about the star-making, instead, it was about doing hoops and making stunts.

That was the daily life of Aurelion Sol, the Star Forger unless he was commanded by Targon again because of the crown on his head. He wondered how would he go about destroying Targon when he himself was barred from ever harming their faction.

Until his day was ruined by a huge portal forming just near his space. He was immediately filled with fear, quickly ditching his recreational activities in favor of closing the portal ASAP.

'The Dark Stars must never reach here!'

He did all he could, throw stars at it, use his body, and even body blocked the entirety of the portal. Though, when he saw the childish face poke out of the portal with a mischievous giggle, he relaxed and groaned into the palm of his hand.

"Great… Zoe's here…"

"Space Puppy!" Zoe made a beeline for him and hugged the cosmic dragon the size of a planet, although his real size was bigger than a galaxy…

"Yes, yes, what do you want…?" Aurelion Sol had the urge to just sit and die at that moment. If it was one thing he disliked more than Targon, it was Zoe's obnoxious personality.

Although whether he preferred one or the other, he would rather pick Zoe and be done with it.

"Since you won't want to play with me until you did that thing, I brought a planet for us to play with!"

"A planet, you say…? Do tell…" Aurelion Sol's curiosity was piqued, if it was a planet Zoe brought, then this would be no ordinary planet.

"This is gonna be awesome!" Zoe brought the planet out of the portal and had it dangerously close with Runeterra. Aurelion Sol would've liked to let the planet crash into each other right there and then, but even he had standards, and mass genocide of a planet or two was not one of them.

It was at that moment, the cogs of reality shifted, and the world of Heroes and Monsters merged into one singular planet…
