Chapter 10: Murder in the Market
- "I'm sorry, Mr. Xu, but you have nothing that interests me."
An angry expression appeared on Xu Bao's face, but before he said anything Yi Wei jumped.
- "Xu Bao! The lotus has been auctioned and since you have lost it now you are trying to buy it, shameless"
- "Gentlemen, are you looking for problems in my classroom?"
Director Yia appeared behind Yán Lian.
- "Director Yia, this is a personal discussion between Xu Bao and me."
- "If they are bothering my salon clients, it is a problem in my salon"
- "Director Yia, I am leaving" –said Yán Lian-
Yán Lian went towards the stairs when the director stopped him.
- "Miss Yán, I have come to tell you something, come to my office"
When Yia Li and Yán Lian left the three patriarchs stayed in the hallway.
-"Miss Yan, the patriarch of the Hong Clan came to my office to look for his son's sword and now he is looking for him, so I would like you to be careful if he crosses paths with Mr. Shi."
- "Miss Yia, thank you for the warning, I will be careful"
-"I can't force him, but if he needs a place so I can't find him, let me know."
Yán Lian said goodbye to Director Yia and left the treasure room heading towards his house. Halfway along the way a knife crossed the sky and stuck near Yán Lian. A figure dressed in black under the roof of a house.
- "You seek to die"
The assassin rushed towards Yán Lian with a dark dagger in his hand. Yán Lian tried to dodge the attacks, but a cut hit Yán Lian's ribs, and a pool of blood came out of his mouth.
- "Primary Kingdom?"
An instant later the murderer ran against Yán Lian again, but he dodged and managed to hit the murderer in the leg. He attacked him again, causing Yán Lian to fall to the ground.
When the assassin was going to stab Yán Lian's chest, a wave of energy came out of his body and the fairy's sword stabbed the assassin, killing him, before returning to the ring. Yán Lian entered his mind and saw the doomed Fairy.
- "What happened?" –Yán Lian asked confused-
- "I managed to control the sword for a moment, but I won't be able to do it again, so you will have to get to the Primary Realm as soon as possible."
