departure pt2

The airship which arrived was much different than the one in which Merlin was saw during the test day. This one was fully covered and made out of iron and wood with intricate designs and carving done. It gave a Ancient era feel to the airship.  He saw other people look at the airship with wide eyes.

 From the airship stepped down a young looking man. Almost he would be 30. He dressed smartly. Or whatever passed as smart here. brown Tight pants, Shirt. And a black jacket to top it off. The clothes seemed to be skin tight. But the man kind of pulled it off.

Seeing him get off, the magus supervisor Wilson Haber moved forward. "Greetings. I am Wilson Haber the supervisor for of the mage institute. I welcome Sir to capital city."

 "Hello Mr.wilson I am karl. I have come over to pick the mage candidates. I don't require any formalities. I do want some water and feed for journey and I will leave."

But Sir, the king of Rosewood had prepared for a feast in the evening for you. It would be our honour and his if you could grace the occasion." Wilson said.

"No. I know he wants to entertain me and perhaps ask for a favor or two. But I don't have the time for all that. A day wasted here means I am one day late for my research. I would ask you to do as I said" saying that karl briskly walked into the building. Wilson guided karl towards the sitting area.

 "Sir, This are the candidate who successfully passed the mage test." Wilson quickly introduced everyone to karl. the students all slightly bowed to the mage Karl which Karl nodded.

 "Hmm. You all look composed enough. That will do for now. I want all of you to pack your stuff and say all the necessary good byes. Once I am ready to go, I won't wait for all of you. I will leave without you." Karl said and left for other room with Wilson.

the students already said goodbye to the family pack of all things with them. some students talking to each other. all of the are Noble's family. Merlin didn't care what they're talking.

"Actually, the wizard accademy is not as beautiful as you think. First of all, all the status you have now is useless in the wizard accademy, because you may never be able to come back if you don't graduate. in short, in the wizard accademy, if you have no power, magic stones, you'd better always keep a low profile and do what you have to do. Otherwise, death will be the norm." said a student in the group.

Merlin thought what the students said right

A small mage apprentice like him could be erased by a powerful wizard one day. After all, the wizard world was too terrifying. Human lives seemed to be worthless, and there were no one to control these wizards.

after lodging some ration to the airship the wizard Karl and students got into the ship. the airship taken of the ground started to fly towards the accademy. There were about 10 people with him in total, having teenagers among which looked extremely young. They all looked calm and collected, trying to search for people of similar age among the crowd as well. Merlin thought of them being a wizard apprentice just like him.
