"Your Highness? Do you want to learn to use a sword?" Andras asked. It was late in the afternoon and most of the passengers had retired below deck.

The Angel started to frown at the title and then got distracted by his question, "Why?"

The question was so genuine that it nearly made him laugh out loud, "You're right, there's no reason." He quickly retracted, hiding a smile. "Do you want to ask the shiphands if they have a spare fishing rod?" He tactlessly changed the subject.

Reqiel stared down at his hands, "My father doesn't want me to learn to fight but even more than that, I don't think I want to."

Andras fell silent, watching the Angel's eyes mist over, "You don't have to."

Reqiel whipped around to glare at him playfully at that, "But you were the one who brought it up!"
