CHAPTER 3 Looking Forward to Your Reaction

　　Wren's POV

　　"I was startled and immediately stood up, straightening my dress. 

　　Ralph still held my hand and didn't want to let go. I could feel his hesitation and frustration at being interrupted. 

　　I squeezed his hand tightly and leaned in to whisper in his ear, "Go ahead, Ralph. I'll go to your room and take a shower while waiting for you to come back, okay?"

　　"I'll be back soon," he said, kissing my forehead before leaving with the maid. 

　　I looked at the other servant, who hadn't moved, and smiled. "Can you please take me to Ralph's room?"

　　She nodded and said, "Of course, Miss Allen. Please follow me."

　　I followed her and went upstairs together, but just as we had taken only a few steps, another Omega servant ran over. 

　　The first maid turned around and apologized, "I'm so sorry, Miss Wren. Can you please wait for me for a moment?"

　　I smiled at her and said, "Sure, no problem."

　　The Omega servant bowed to me apologetically before leaning in to whisper something to the maid. Soon, she straightened up, bowed to me again, and quickly left. 

　　The maid in front of me looked a little embarrassed. "I'm sorry, Miss Allen. I'm afraid I won't be able to continue leading you. Please wait a moment while I contact another servant to guide you."

　　"It's okay," I said, looking at the exquisitely decorated hallway in front of me. "Just tell me the direction; I can find my way there myself."

　　She raised her hand and pointed in the direction ahead, saying, "You just need to turn right after walking to the very end, and his room is right there."

　　"I see. Thank you."

　　I quickly walked over. Ralph's room was indeed easy to find. Although the second floor was very large, there were very few rooms. along the corridor. The double wooden doors with different decorations were standard for the bedroom. 

　　I pushed open the door and walked in. This huge room was even simpler than I had imagined. After lying on Ralph's bed for a while, I immediately got up and went to the bathroom. 

　　I looked at myself in the mirror and noticed I was still flushed from earlier. I pursed my lips, patted my face lightly, took off my dress and accessories, turned on the shower, and started washing. Afterward, I wrapped myself in Ralph's bathroom towel and walked out. 

　　The lights in the room had been turned off, and there was a sweet aroma that I had never smelled before lingering in the air. The light from outside shone through the curtains, leaving an ambiguous warm color and outlining Ralph's silhouette on the bed. I could feel him looking at me, which made me feel a little shy. 

　　I held onto the corner of the towel to keep it from opening, then walked over. I climbed onto the bed and sat on Ralph's lap. His body temperature has always been very high compared to mine. The heat coming from him made me dizzy. There seemed to be a pleasant fragrance on his body that I had never smelled before. I inexplicably felt comforted by the scent as I buried my nose in his shoulder.
