CHAPTER 27 Betrayal

　　Wren's POV

　　So, Ralph and Clover, recognized by the shop owner earlier, were shopping together. It was all true. This was all happening right under my nose and I didn't even realize it.

　　And Ralph's excuse of picking a birthday gift for me with Clover was just a cover-up. He was actually dating Clover and I at the same time.

　　And Clover's apology to me was also a betrayal. So when she returned the bracelet to me, she want to completely sever ties with me. She never wanted see me again.

　　"No!" Ralph's voice was hoarse and trembling; he looked at Clover in shock and asked, "What are you saying, Clover? What are you saying? We never..."

　　"Why don't you just admit it, Ralph? This is really sad. If I had known you would be like this, I wouldn't have bought the tie clip back to make you happy that day."Clover laughed at herself, saying, "Then I wouldn't have been forced in here by you."

　　Ralph seemed speechless, unable to say a word to Clover for a long time.
