He was still the Alpha anyways.

Blake's eyes found mine momentarily, there was pity in them and it only angered me.

"We are all gathered today to witness the trials of two individuals who have inadvertently gone against the laws of the pack. One being my own son."

The light in his eyes seemed to dim as the crowd expressed their approval.

"Dan has been charged with conspiring and committing crimes against a pack member as well as other crimes.." his words ended as Dan was brought out in silver chains, his gaunt face not bothering to look up. My breathing became labored as I hauled myself through the crowd, forcing my way to the front.

"Dan!" I shouted. His head angled up slightly, eyes finding mine, sending me an apologetic grimace before dropping his gaze back down to the floor.

I narrowed my eyes at Blake and the crowd was booing at Dan.
