It was as if the whispers of the wind had shared the fact that Nicholai Rudolf, the Alpha of the Canini Shore pack, had sent an executioner packing. As the days went by, the full moon banquet could only grow closer. Calls started to be made to their estate, and Darius was hearing about the other leaders of the non-human races wishing to attend their full moon banquet this month.
Of course, they all knew that Nicholai would be claiming his mate under the gaze of the Moon Goddess by then. It seemed that most of these leaders didn't know who the mate was, while some just didn't have an impression of who Darius Walker was. He didn't find it strange; after all, Gilbert Gillard didn't like meeting the other leaders.
Still, it was putting pressure on the Omegas working on the banquet. Nothing must go wrong or be worthy of the nitpick. They were not willing to be deemed useless by someone from another race. Even Darius was getting dragged into it.
