The female wolf's lips moved as if she was doing a wry smile. She knew that Nicholai could see her face even if he was walking away from her. "What a child.
"Don't be too narrow-minded, dear. You're the biggest threat to the witches; your crest will pulse with the rhythm of the castle. Not to mention that you're the person Domino wants to kill off the most." The wood wolf huffed as she watched Nicholai move away, still. "Solar will pin you as the target. Conserve your strength and let Enzo serve his purpose. Only fight when necessary."
Nicholai grunted, but he stopped in his spot. "You should recall your spurred nightmare, Mother. You don't need to keep an eye on me. I can protect myself just fine."
