What am I doing?

Standing just outside the restaurant where Venus and Derek came into, I couldn't help but stare at myself in the glass reflection in front of me.

My chest tightened when I saw how pitiful I looked as I stood here alone, looking like an idiot.

(Hours ago)

On my way to visit Derek, I was surprised to see the empty streets as I came near the hotel- I was even more bothered as it looked like all the lights died down all of a sudden.

{"That's weird."}

I was about to enter when my eyes caught sight of Derek covering her eyes. My hand automatically retracted from the door, and I hid by the side of the building.

What was that?

I took another glance and confirmed that it really was them. They were wearing formal clothes- and it made me stare in awe of how beautiful Venus looked wearing that dress. But more than anything, seeing her be so comfortable around him slowly killed me.
