The Alpha's Human Luna

Nancy Neo was a wanderer, oh yes a restless soul drifting through cities and towns, never tethered to one place for long, she was like a tree with no root. When her family chose to settle in Akin City, a place whispered to be a sanctuary of peace and promise Nancy hoped, for once, to find a semblance of belonging. But beneath Akin City’s polished front lay shadows deeper than she could imagine. Nancy’s days were ordinary, her nights lonelier still, as she wandered the unfamiliar streets, yearning for something she couldn’t name. Little did she know, the modern world she inhabited held an ancient secret. Among the greatest of these: werewolves lived among them, hidden in plain sight, their true nature masked by human guise. One fateful evening, curiosity drew Nancy beyond the city’s borders into the wild fringes of the land. The air was electric under a full moon’s gaze, and the forest seemed to pulse with an energy both intoxicating and forbidden. There, in a hidden glade, she stumbled upon a sight that would alter her life forever—a pack of werewolves celebrating beneath the argent glow, their howls a haunting fear that sent shivers racing down her spine. She thought she was invisible, cloaked by the shadows of the trees. But the pack’s alpha a figure of raw power and grace caught her scent. As the alpha’s gaze locked onto hers, Nancy froze. The breath she had been holding escaped in a startled gasp as recognition struck like lightning. It was Baby, her lover. The truth slammed into her like a chillwave, pulling her into a whirl of disbelief, fear, and heartbreak. Baby wasn’t just a werewolf—he led them. The man she had trusted, the one she thought she knew, was a creature of the night. Caught at the crossroads of two worlds, one fragile and familiar, the other untamed and feral. Nancy was forced to confront the impossible. Could she reconcile her love for Baby with the monstrous truth of his existence? But Akin City held more secrets, and Nancy was about to uncover her own. Beneath the surface of her prosaic life lay a destiny she never anticipated, a path sprinkled with danger, desire, and a power she never knew she possessed. In a city that promised safety, Nancy would learn that peace is an illusion and sometimes, the greatest threats are the ones that lurk within. The moon whispers secrets to those who listen, but beware some truths are meant to remain hidden.

Their reaction when they met Wolfe

Nancy's POV

Betty, Roland, and I were heading to the packing lodge when a girl name Mary-Anne approached us. She was looking mysterious, it was my first time seeing her in Biology class.

"Quite a stunt you pulled back there Roland," Mary-Anne growls. Roland's mouth immediately goes dry as he twists himself around to see who it was.

"Stunt?" was all he could say. "I'm Mary-Anne Dickson," she said with a smile as she put her hand forward for a handshake. Roland shakes her and quickly takes off his hand. He was in shock. I didn't get the time to ask him what was wrong.

"Hey Nancy," a voice said from behind as he approached closer. He stood beside Mary-Anne and pats her shoulders as he smiled.

"I will see you guys around. Baby," she said and turn to face Baby, smiled back, and wave at her.

"Do you know her?" Roland asked Baby, it was obvious they know each other. He ignores him and turns to face me still keeping a close distance which I don't know why.

"Can we talk alone Nancy?" he asked with his hands back in his pocket.

"Oh, I need to do something at home. It's very important can we talk some other time?" I muttered as my eyes drop to the ground trying to avoid any eye contact and yes I'm avoiding him.

"If they are going, I can tag along too," he said as he stares at Roland, only God knows what they telepathically convey to each other with their intense gaze. It was a warning for him not to object.

I looked at Roland waiting for him to say yes. "Who am I to say no?" he said angrily.

"Come on Roland," I whimpered as Baby gives him a pup eye.

"Fine, as long as he keeps his hands to himself and stays at least an inch away from you." He instructed, I'm lucky to have a friend like him but I wonder what at all he is protecting me from.

"Ok blonde," he smirks as he jumps in the car. Roland gave him a threatening look. Just then Betty had a call from her father and she needed to leave. "I need to go, but you will tell me everything right?" she asked.

"Of course, I will, bye Betty," I murmured.

"Bye fatty," Baby joked. "Stop it, Baby, she hates to be called fat. Come on, are you coming?" I asked as Roland join us in the car.

"Whatever, she is fat," Baby said as he made himself comfortable in the front seat. I smiled as we drove the car out of the school premises.

Everyone was quiet the whole time while I was swirling in thoughts. We arrived at my house after some minutes later. I match them to my room and close the door. Luckily mum is at the clinic and dad might have gone to see Dr. Gorden.

Baby's eyes traveled around my room as if he was looking for something. Roland and Baby stared at my bed in horror. I turn to where their eyes were gazing. Wolfe was lying comfortably on my bed.

"Hello, there Wolfe you miss me don't you?" I said as I cuddle its furs.

"What is this Nancy? You have this in your room, I didn't believe it when you said you... it actually true," Roland said angrily.

"Relax you all meet Wolfe, my cute little pet," I grin as I cuddle him more and he seems to like it, I'm amazed how we seem to get along so well.

"You call this, 'little cute pet' huh? a cat or a dog is a pet that's a huge wolf damn it," Baby argues as Wolfe howls at him.

"Easy Wolfe, go on now, I need to do something," I said swinging from the bed.

Wolfe refused to leave, "You see, the way you guys are angry, he wouldn't want to leave," I muttered.

"Wow, you don't say, I will make him leave then," Baby tries to shove him off but he wouldn't still leave.

"Alright listen to this," I said as I played the tape for them to listen to. Roland was surprised but said it was silly.

"Say, something guys, I fear my dad is up to something dangerous," I hissed. They were all trying to sink in what they had just hard.

"Here it goes,"

{oh well, guys you remember Baby and his brothers went to save a friend of theirs when Nancy's father and his team held him captive and he did make eye contact with him. what do you think Baby is going to do? this is tricky is he capable of hurting his future father-law well let's see}
