He looked around and saw plastic tubes around him. They were either connected to an oxygen tank or to his hand. Smaller kinds of those connected to different tanks and tubes. He woke up to his senses and realised he didn't know where he was. Or to put it in a different term, didn't know how he got to where he was.
William could hear the sound of his own breathing in the oxygen mask. His hand started to ache on seeing the needle that was driven into his veins. He could see the blood above him in a small bag. Blood travelled from the thin tube into his veins.
His head ached while he tried to remember what had happened to him. He pulled the Oxygen mask off his hand and took out the tubes, trying to get off the bed. It was then he noticed that there were other people in the room they also had bruises and cuts and were still asleep on their beds.
