Immediately, the opposing werewolf threw in the challenge, Derek and his people took up the fighting stance, some already shifting into their werewolf forms. Derek debated on whether he should do the same, remembering his mother's words.
What if Anthony's power does not work on the beast, since there might be some blood loss in the hall? What happens then?
"Calm down." Anthony said to him through the mind link.
"I won't let that beast take control, and cause more harm than good." He promised, shifting to his own wolf.
With the assurance procured by Anthony's words, Derek allowed Maru to take over, the same time as the opposing werewolf shifted to his wolf version.
