The Encounter

 Sometimes, a peaceful life can be challenging in some way. Even in Shinichi's story. This time, Shinichi encounters some hooligans after hearing the scream of the girl while on his way to the academy. 

"Who the f*ck are you?!" asked one of the hooligans. 

 Shinichi smirked. Even though, his heart is beating like crazy right now. He didn't expect that he would jump from the bridge without thinking! But he doesn't care about all of that right now. What he priority was the scream he heard earlier. 

 He turned around quickly and saw a girl around his age leaning on the wall with some wounds on her knees. She breathed heavily like just running so fast for an hour. Shinichi quickly rushes to her side and checks on her. 

"They made you run, huh?" chuckled and looked back at the hooligans. Shinichi felt angry. His blood boiling with anger. He clenches his fist. The girl noticed how mad Shinichi was and calmed him down. 

"Don't worry. I'm alright. Just a bit injured. Nothing serious. But let me handle this myself or I will not be worthy of the Herrman!" said her while extending her hand. 

Suddenly, a heavy wind gathered around the hooligans. Then, a symbol appeared above her palm. A symbol that looked like a tornado-like. 

"Star Holder?" Shinichi mumbled with amazed. 

Then, the hooligans suddenly got thrown out while spinning to the sky. Shinichi was still amazed by the view and whistle. He didn't expect that this girl was tough in the first place. 

"Heh, you are tough, huh?" commented Shinichi with chuckles. 

She turned around and gave a tired smile to Shinichi. Suddenly, she falls to the ground. Shinichi's eyes widen and quickly grabs her before touching the ground. Shinichi smiled and looked at her. "You did a great job. You can rest now," said Shinichi as he put her down gently. 

 [Star Holder] is a title to the person who awakened their power. A person who awakens can be seen having a symbol or Space Mark, somewhere on their body part. This also determined how strong their power level was. 

 This Space Mark has three levels, Galaxy, Planet, and Star. Galaxy level is where the people have full body marks. For example, on the upper body or the back. Planet level is where people have marks on one of their body parts, such as on their arms. While Star level is a small symbol that can be seen on their palm.

A few moments later. 

The girl finally awoke. Shinichi smiled and sighed relieved. The girl gave a confused look. Shinichi looked at her with chuckles. 

"Glad you finally woke up. How's your feel? anything strange?" asked Shinichi. 

The girl checked on her body and shook her head. "Nothing strange. Thanks for watching for my body while I passed out." said the girl. 

Shinichi felt something was wrong with her words but brushed it off. As long as she is alright that's enough for Shinichi. Shinichi then realized he was on the way to the academy and late. 

Shinichi's face became pale and sweat heavily. His body is wobbly and his heart beating so fast. The girl notices Shinichi's worried and asks. 

"Hey, what's wrong? Were you sick or injured?" asked the girl with a concerned voice. 

"No, I just realized I'm late to the freshman ceremony at SGMA," explained Shinichi in a low voice.

"SGMA? OH! Space Guardian Military Academy? I also enrolled there too!" 

"...."

"Wait we were late??!" she shouted when she realized they were late. 

Shinichi looked at her. He was shocked when saw her as late as him. He laughed loudly at her silly reaction. The girl stopped when saw Shinichi laughing. Then, she also joined him laughing. They both laugh at each other for a while. After that, they got up and quickly grabbed their stuff. Shinichi who left his stuff at the bridge rushes running up the hill and grabs his stuff. 

Then, they both ran to the academy as fast as they could. Fortunately, the academy was close enough to them. As they ran to the academy, they were approached by a black limousine. The black limousine opened the window and saw two bodyguards in the car. 

The black limousine belongs to the girl; those two are her bodyguards who should protect her but slipped off. The bodyguards brought them into the limousine and drove to the academy. With this, they can catch up on the time and arrive at the academy on time. As soon as they arrived, the bodyguard took out the girl's luggage and helped the girl bring it inside the academy. 

The bodyguards thanked Shinichi for his kindness and gave out some money. Shinichi rejects the idea of giving someone money, but the bodyguards insist. This was also their fault, to begin with. So, to respect their wishes, Shinichi accepted them with open hearts and then went inside the academy. The bodyguard drove away and left them.

Shinichi then went inside the hall and saw the girl save a seat for him. He then took the seat and sighed relieved. The girl chuckles at the reaction Shinichi gave. While waiting for the ceremony to start, Shinichi and the girl introduce each other. Her name is Elise Herrman. With a blonde-haired and emerald eye, she can be one of the beauties at the academy. She also originates from Namregk. The nation of the wind. Also one of the nations of LON, Leagues of Nations. 

While they are distracted in their conversation the ceremony finally starts. The ceremony was not so different from a normal academy gathering, with the introduction, welcoming speech, and more. half an hour of boring speech starts to influence Shinichi. Shinichi's eyes became heavy and sleepy. Shinichi also sometimes falls asleep for a second. 

At the end of the ceremony, the principal turns to give a speech. Principal, with a beard covering his face and with a scar on his left eye also has charisma in his way. A resonant voice as he speaks reminds Shinichi of his grandfather who sometimes uses the same voice as him. 

"Welcome to our academy, youngsters. It made me happy that most of you chose our academy for your future career. But enough with this introduction. What I want to talk about is our academy the true ceremony!" said the principal in an excited voice. 

As he said those words, all freshmen in the hall became confused. They all became anxious and nervous. Shinichi also became energetic once again. 

"Yes. Our true objective when establishing this academy is for one and only enemies! The Invaders! So, every year when a new first-year enrolls, we will give them a trial. A trial that will show them whether they are ready to die on duty or not. We called it [Space Battles]!"
