chapter 8

Everybody is heading to the cafeteria.

Kanisha is smiling, while she has her arms wrapped around Betty and Dumbra's arms.

"So, you had to go through all of that?" Betty asks Kanisha.

"Yeah", said Kanisha, then smiles. "But, now I don't care".

"Because of that literature class?" Dumbra asks Kanisha.

"Yes, because of the literature class, nothing could ruin this day", said Kanisha.

A ball of electricity was heading to Kanisha, but Aki grabs it with her robo arm and swallows it; then absorbs it.

"Thanks, Aki", said Kanisha.

"You noticed stuff easily", said Aki.

"Thank you, oh well, I'm going to get my food, see ya at a table", said Kanisha, then gets in a lunch line.

"Should one of us watch over her?" Betty asks her friends.

"I would, but I promised Wolfie that I would travel with him", said Aki.

"Oh, travel where?" Betty asks Aki.

"Just around the world", said Aki, then walked off.

"Then have fun", said Betty. "I'll stay here".

"That's okay, I can stay here", said Dumbra.

"How about we both stay here", said Betty.

"Good idea", said Dumbra.

Kanisha gets her food and walks to the drink area, then gets a pop.

After that, Kanisha sits with Dumbra and Betty.

"Your food actually looks edible", said Betty.

"But, does it actually taste good?" Dumbra questioned.

Kanisha tastes chicken wings and smiles.

"Smile says it does taste good", said Betty.

"So, what would you say about today?" Sciencia asks Kanisha, as she sits down.

"Could've been better, but this food makes up", said Kanisha.

"Something is suspicious", said Kisa, while shuffling some cards and giving them to Clay, Alyma, Jack, Ryan, Cherry, and Kennedy.

"I agree, I mean this entire time, these students and teacher treat Kanisha rudely yet they give her healthy food and the literature teacher treats her nicely too", said Ryan.

"So, you think she had an ulterior motive?" Kanisha asks, while eating corn on a cob.

"Yes", said Everybody except Clay who nodded.

"Hmmm… which is?" Kanisha asks her friends.

"Maybe wanting to know why a mortal like yourself would be here", Aki pointed out.

"That could be true, but all the staff already know that as well as the students, I figured it out from Bunny", said Kanisha.

"When?" Cherry asks Kanisha.

"He texted me", Kanisha smiled, while holding her phone.

"Makes sense, you know I just don't get why everybody else dislikes the idea of a mortal besides Bunny, the literature teacher, and apparently a lunch lady", Dumbra wondered.

"It's because a mortal doesn't belong in a magical school", said Samira. "And I'm going to say that about all of you".

"Kanisha!" Kisa calls Kanisha.

"Do it", said Kanisha.

Kisa speeds around Samira and gets tied up like a present.

"Hey, let me go", said Samira.

"Kanisha, should we let her go?" Kisa asks Kanisha.

Kanisha is drinking some apple juice from a bottle and says "Yeah, but first we should teach her not to tick off somebody who is having a bad day".

"You heard her, everybody", said Kisa.

Lukas and Max attack Samira at the same time.

Samira starts to run away, when Wolfie appears like a dinosaur.

Samira looks terrified and runs to a different exit, when she is stopped Aki in her robotic form.

Samira tries to dodge the lasers, then Kennedy attacks her with the exploding arrows.

Everybody in the cafeteria is watching instead of eating.

"Guys, shouldn't we do something?" asked Orange.

"Duh, we are recording", said Leo.

"No, I mean stop the fighting", said Orange.

"Trust me, you don't want to get in the middle of that", said Nash.

"Nash! What do you mean?" Orange asks Nash, looking suspicious.

"Sit down by me, I'll explain", said Nash.

Orange sits down by Nash.

Sciencia is flying and spins acid around Samira, Samira is running from Sciencia.

Sciencia stops.

A giant ax appears, Dumbra picks it up, and runs after Samira with super speed.

"Please, I've had enough, I've had enough", Samira begged.

"Oh, now you are begging for us to stop, say you will never mess with Kanisha again", said Dumbra, while holding a giant ax and walking op slowly towards Samira.

"I promise! I promise!" Samira cries.

"Fine, go", said Dumbra.

Samira runs out of the cafeteria.

Orange runs to Dumbra and says "You sure you weren't too harsh".

"Don't worry, look", said Dumbra, as she pointed to Kanisha walking out of the cafeteria.

Samira is crying and looking terrified, while in the hallway.

Kanisha walks to Samira.

Samira looks at Kanisha, backs up, and says "Please I promised not to mess with you".

"Listen I may have traumatized you and I am sorry because nobody deserves that , even though I had a bad day", Kanisha apologizes.

Kanisha gives Samira a pie, then gets up, and starts to walk away.

Samira takes the pie and doesn't say anything, but gives Kanisha a necklace made of seashells.

Kanisha smiles and goes back to the cafeteria.

Orange runs to Kanisha and says "What did she say or do?

"Well, she gave me a necklace, so I would say I have calmed her down", said Kanisha.

"Hmmm", Orange smiled.

Everybody gets back to their lunch.

"See problem solved", said Nash.
