Businessman

Just as he entered the dungeon, he stepped into the national park, not too far from home. His clothes battered, beaten, and torn he took his first steps out from the portal exhausted. His human form returned to him, and he took in the beauty he could see from where he stood. Half of him didn't want to move more than he already did. The drive home was longer than he remembered, and when he got home, he didn't want to do anything but rest. Despite this, his phone buzzed and rang. "What now?" He asks, sitting up and answering the phone. "Hello?" He asks. "Are you serious, sir?! Are you still in bed?!" Mari Asks, "Uh... Yeah, I was up late last night raiding dungeons," Winter explained, half lying to get out of this situation. "Do you have any idea what time it is right now, sire?!" She asks. "Nope... What time is it?" He asks, stretching his head. "It's two o'clock!" Mari exclaimed, loudly. "What? Is there something I'm forgetting?" Winter asks. "Mr. Greats, you have a meeting today. You didn't forget did you?" She asks, "When do I have to be there?" He asks, becoming increasingly serious, in a cold sweat. "Five o'clock!" Mari replied. " won't be late... I've got plenty of time to get ready," Winter responded, getting up and walking over to his bathroom. "Just call me when you're in the building!" She hung up.

With much of the hard work done, he started looking through his walk-in closet, but couldn't find much that he felt suitable for such a meeting. "I should probably dress better than a t-shirt and sweatpants... Since I'm going to a meeting, and all," Winter sighed heavily, "Oh well," he grabbed nice clothes from the hanger. Later on in the day, he stopped by his bank. "How may I help you today?" Asks the young receptionist. "I want to make a debit card, and update my bank account," Winter explained leaning back in the surprisingly comfortable chair that was placed at the desks. "Sure thing," she took a look at a couple of things, putting things into the computer, and looking down to confirm a couple of things on his current registry. "Wait... 1.4 trillion dollars?! But he looks so young! How does he have so much money?" She thought with surprise, "May I ask what your occupation is, sir?" She asks, "I'm the owner of EWR, and I raid on the side," Winter explained shrugging. "Ahh," she nods, "I heard that EWR makes a fortune, and raiders make really good money... He probably has a high rank on top of his large business," she thought. "Our bank is currently offering a new investment opportunity for our VIP clients," she began. "We've had great responses so far. Would you be interested in investing today?" She asks to read from a script. "Looks like the raids and business investment do pay off," Winter thought, "No thanks," he replied awkwardly.

With the update complete, he went out for a haircut. From there, he made his way to the main EWR building deep within the city. The tallest building there is in the city. "Seriously? Who are you, and what did you do with the real Winter?" The assistant asks, awkwardly standing in the hallway to the meeting room. "What are you even talking about?" He asks, walking up with a crew cut on his head. "Wow... I had no idea that someone could change this much," Mari looked up at him now. "Well, I'm meeting the board members. Would you rather I wore a tracksuit with slides?" Winter asks unamused. They made their way down the hallway, headed for the board meeting room. People were gathered, talking, and walking. Most were on their break at this point, but others were still on the job. "Oh, my god. Who is that guy?" A girl asks. "Wow, he's hot," one mumbled. "Isn't that Winter Greats? He must be going to a meeting," a guy asks, "Huh? Oh, hello," a girl bumped into him. "Hullo," he replied, glancing at them. "Wow, you're pretty popular," his assistant walked beside him. "I suppose so," Winter responded, chuckling softly. "Come to think of it, you don't have a girlfriend, right? So were you really out raiding late last night?" Mari asks smugly. "I've got a lot of connections, I could set you up with a cute girl in the office," She offered. "This is a place of business. Knock it off," he rolled his eyes. "A-alright," Mari shuts up quickly. He walked into the business room and sat down in what was his father's chair. He sighed and relaxed.

The meeting was long and tedious. Full of decisions, talk of money, and what to do next. "Another notebook full of meeting notes..." He thought, down to his last few pages. As he was still deep in the consideration of the business's next move, the airport was still as busy as ever. "The air is different here," Billy took a step out into the airport parking lot. "I didn't expect to come to Klato so soon," he added. Billy wore an orange shirt with a collar, with a button-up near the neck. He had sunglasses on. "Welcome, sir," River walked up to Billy. "Ooh! Look who it is. Good to see you again, River," he had a wide grin on his face. "What brings an agent from the Mythical Dungeons Association here?" He asks. "An S-rank Mythic has set foot in Klato, so of course an agent from the surveillance team was dispatched," River explained. "The surveillance team? Are you still chairman, Mr. Sears' right-hand man? If I were in your shoes, I'd make sure that the old geezer can't do anything without his trusted subordinates, and then take everything over myself," Billy got close to River. "How long are you planning to stay, sir?" He asks, unfazed by the intimidation of Billy's best efforts. "Not for long. I'm not fond of this city, so no need to worry. I'll be leaving right away after the business has been settled," Billy explained to River, "You betrayed your community and moved up the country, so the fact that you've returned to Klato must mean you're here to do something about-" River began- "The S-rank Mythic, Winter jr. Throndsen, correct?" He asks, turning around to see Billy trying to walk away, past River. "You're a surveillance agent, alright. If you already know why I'm here, why'd you ask?" Billy asks, facing away while he talks, trying not to rage. "I'm here to stop you from getting out of hand," River replied calmly. "You? Stop me?" Billy asks, turning around with his face in a strange, angry smile. "I'm just doing my job," River replied, unintimidated. Two people were walking by, "The airport feels kind of suffocating for some reason," one complained, "Yeah, it's hard to breathe around here," The other replied. "I've always liked you. How about joining the scavenger guild? We'll give you a great deal. More than whatever that old man is paying you," Billy offered, placing his hand on River's shoulder. "S-rank Billy Bob. The association suspected his older brother, Bobby Bill, of murdering countless raiders inside the dungeons. Like a lizard cutting off their tail," River thought. "We weren't able to conduct a proper investigation because he was Billy Bob's older brother. I guess the two are related after all..." River continued. "Neither have shown guilt for committing heinous acts of murder. Scumbags," River thought, staring deep into Billy's eyes.

Winter was on his way to another meeting, "This should be exciting," Winter thought, with a smug look on his face. It was starting to get late into the day when he arrived on the scene. "It's been a While Mr. Greats," Jonah walked in with a smile. Yes, it's been a while, Mr. Jonah," Winter replied, looking up from his paperwork. "I'm surprised to get a call from you at this hour, requesting to visit our training grounds for new Mythics," Jonah explained. "This must mean he's interested in the White Lion guild," he thought, "Of course, we had to make arrangements since the person making the request was none other than you, Mr. Greats," Jonah continued. "He wants to see how we train recruits. This is great!" He thought to himself, "We'll make a good impression by showing him just how exceptional the White Lion guild's training system is!" Jonah thought. "I've already told all the other Mythics about your visit, so there's no need to worry," he added. Just then, a teenage girl with black hair in a bob cut, black eyes, and a beauty mark right under her left eye. She wears a hoodie with a black cap, a gray skirt, and black leggings. "Who are you, and what are you doing here on White Lion Guild's turf?" She asks, walking up to Winter fearlessly. "What is a child doing here?" He asks awkwardly, several feet taller than her. "Stella Finely, She is the Guild Master's daughter. Stella overheard me talking to you on the phone, and wanted to join the raid too," Jonah explained. "What rank are you?" Winter asks, "E-rank, but that doesn't mean I can't raid!" Stella explained, crossing her arms. "A lesson or two could be learned in the dungeon... If you want to go, you'll have to stick around me," Winter offered. "Okay!" Stella replied quickly. "M-mr. Greats! That's the Guild Master's daughter. Are you sure you want to take her inside the dungeon?" Jonah asked with frightening surprise. "It'll be my responsibility, now. Besides, it's only C-rank," Winter replied, smirking. "Yes, yes. Traumatizing her is a good lesson to teach," Ultima mocked. "I'll teach her how useless she is in raids, that should discourage her..." He replied in his mind.

"This area has been designated as a zone with high concentrations of Dungeon appearances, not many people in this neighborhood. About 80% of the houses have been deserted, and some parts of the area have been closed off," Jonah explained, "A c-rank dungeon spawned an hour ago. It'll be perfect for our tour," he continued, "It's already Nine o'clock! Let's cut the chit-chat and head in," a buff young man with black hair in a buzz-cut hairstyle began. He wore a gray suit of armor with a furry collar, a white tassel cloth, and a helmet that resembled a monster's head over a simple black undershirt. He also wielded a large shield and a long battle axe and had a longsword strapped to the left side of his hip. He walked up to them. "This isn't a picnic you know," he explained with his arms crossed. "Who's he?" Winter asks, "One of our new A-rank Mythics. It looks like we may have offended him a bit when we notified him of your visit. He thinks we're treating this as a field trip," Jonah explained awkwardly. "An A-rank?" Winter asks, not minding his comment. "Yes, his name is Charles, and as you can see, he's a tank," Jonah responded. "Today's strike squad is made up of one A-rank, seven B-ranks, and four C-ranks. Which makes for a total of 12 members in the squad," Jonah continued. "Adding A-rank and B-rank mythics to the squad for a C-rank dungeon may seem a little excessive, but even though their rankings are high, they're still new mythics. We do this so that they can gain experience in the dungeons," Jonah explained, proud of the system they have in place. "Regardless, this seems overkill," Winter commented, "I wanted to see how they raid, but they all seem new," he thought to himself. "Excuse me, Mr. Greats. The raid will be too easy if you intervene, so please stay on the sidelines for today," Chul explained. They began to enter the dungeon, and Stella stood close beside Winter as promised. She went in first, but as Winter took a step in, sparks of red electricity Started to curl and bend the space in front of the squad.

Winter felt something was wrong. "What is his feeling?" He thought, seeing a red aura like magic encapsulate them. "Uh, chief!" Chul exclaimed uncertainty. "The gate is," he added of a powerful wind blowing out from the dungeon. "What the hell is this?" Jonah asks with wide eyes. "Is this a," he asks. "This magic... It's moving wildly, like waves in a storm," Ultima thought, "Somethings different. This doesn't happen when you enter a dungeon... What is this magic?!" It asks, annoyed and frustrated with the uneasiness. "I sense danger! Winter! We have to get out of here quickly!" Ultima warned Winter.

~>System<{" The [Dungeon] That [Player] Was Entering Did Not Match [Player]'s [Level]! [Dungeon]'s [Level] Will be Increased!"}>It rang to Winter<~< p>

From the Entrance of the dungeon, boulders collapsed, beginning to block the entrance. The dungeon itself began to rumble. This Collapsing Dungeon fell in front of the raiders, while a portal formed underneath them. Winter grabbed onto the floor of what's left of the entrance, pulling himself out, screaming "Mr. Jonah! Contact the main strike squad right now!" He yelled, falling with a fist full of rock. "Mr. Greats!" Jonah rushed up to the entrance just as it fully collapsed. "Chief! What should we do?! Mr. Greats got sucked into the gate as well!" Chul explained, with concern for the strike squad. "The main strike squad won't help anyone. I'm going to call the guild master himself!" Jonah dialed a number into his phone. A muscular man with spiky orange hair, orange eyes, pronounced canine teeth, and neatly trimmed sideburns. At this moment he was in a black tux. "A Collapsing Dungeon?!" He asks, standing up from his office chair. "How did a Collapsing Dungeon come out from a C-rank Dungeon?!" He asks, furious. "If what you're saying is true, then that means... I'll have to go take a look myself," his eyes glowing a bright orange.
