Red River Village

In a village known as Red River Village, one would find that at the center of the village, all of the villagers gathered. How couldn't why when today was the special day? every 10 years, someone from the sect would come by seeking talents from the village.

Today was one of such days, and everyone wanted to see if they could cultivate. Of course, there was an age limit, that being no more than 17 years old. The best time for one to start cultivating was around the age of 5 to 7, those in this village who missed out on such an opportune time to cultivate would have to put in a lot of work to catch up to everyone else.

But then again, not everyone in this village had to wait for this day to start cultivating. Normally, a cultivation technique was needed to cultivate, but it was still possible to cultivate without the need for one. However, it would not have the benefits of a technique since techniques could allow one to cultivate unique abilities or even bloodlines. a person who cultivated with a technique can have a huge difference in strength, 2 to thousands of times greater than those without one.

there were few families in the village with a cultivation art, these families were once those who managed to enter the sect but were sent back due to not being able to keep up with those in the sect. of course, the cultivation art they had couldn't freely be given to others due to an oath they had to make.

Currently, the village head's son walked onto the stage and went on to go ahead to test his talent. There was an orb that would test one talent, black would be the least talented, and the more talented one was, the brighter the orb would grow.

"what is he doing up there?" People seeing the village head son were shocked, everyone remembered 10 years ago, this 17-year-old couldn't even turn the orb black. this meant the village head son was worse than trash. at least someone with black talent can still cultivate, and become a cultivator. meanwhile, he couldn't even become a cultivator no matter what he did.

To make things worse, he was engaged to the number one beauty of Red River City. the number one beauty of Red River City was a super talent, there was a huge sect that already had her joined at the age of 5, and she was only staying in this village to marry this trash before she left to try and become an immortal.

Out of jealousy and disdain, this young man was hated by everyone in the village. the young man ignored everyone and walked up to the white-haired man who was sitting backward in his seat while reading a book in his hands. the weird thing was that he had a blindfold on, yet he was reading the book perfectly.

"My name is Yun Che. I'm 17 years old." The young man said calmly, he looked at the book the man was reading, and was a romantic novel. This left him speechless at the fact someone could just read this without shame.

"Yun Che?" the white-haired man said while looking up, he lifted his blindfold slightly, revealing just one eye, yet the young man was shocked seeing just how beautiful the eye was. It was an eye many would take to keep in a jar due to how beautiful it was.

'where did I hear that name?' He thought while looking at Yun Che, just to shrug and wave the brat off... well, they were the same age. He went on to watch as the young man placed his palm on an orb while listening to the people who were talking about Yun Che.

He watched as the orb turned black before it turned gray before it went on to turn whiter just to stop at a dirty white. This scene caused everyone to go quiet, not expecting something like that. 

Yun Che ignored them and turned to look at the white-haired man, but he frowned seeing the white-haired man smiling slightly with a knowing look.

"Maybe if I took the time to learn about other techniques, I would know if your technique was rare or not." He said with a smile while putting the blindfold over his eye and returning to his book.

Yun Che sighed softly, not expecting to be seen through. he had used a technique to hide his talent but to think he was seen through. Yun Che used to not be able to cultivate.

But a few days ago, he was beaten up pretty well, leading to his death. But he ended up awakening in this new body after he died in his past life. he had all of the memories of this life, and they seemed to have fused, leading to him and the old host of this body becoming one.

"Senior, Yun Che was a cripple who couldn't even turn the orb black last year. he must be cheating." A man who was older than the white-haired man said, and instantly everyone joined in to support.

"Shut up." The white-haired man said with a look of pure annoyance, making them all shut their mouth.

"Yun Che," A voice that sounded like the voice of an angel filled the quiet air. everyone turned to look up towards the sky... well, almost everyone as the white-haired man returned to reading the book with his eyes covered.

Yun Che looked into the sky and saw an ice-blue-haired woman floating on top of a sword, looking at him with an emotionless face.

"Since you have some talent, annul the marriage, and in return..." She said while throwing a ring forward, Yun Che caught the ring but didn't even send his mind to it to see what was within.

"I refuse, I will only accept it if Xia Qingyue speaks up about the matter." Yun Che said while throwing the storage ring back toward her. but the storage ring just paused in front of her, controlled by her spiritual sense, it floated to the side while she glared at Yun Che with killing intent.

"Please don't look at a possible sect disciple of my sect with such a heated gaze. At least take him out first." The man with a blindfold said, causing the woman who was on top of her sword to turn towards him, killing intent filling her eyes.

"Such a heated gaze, I don't know what to say. But we just met." He said shyly, causing her to wave her hands, an Ice spike appeared behind her before she shot it forward. This all happened at speeds no one there could keep up with, to everyone's eyes, the spike just disappeared, stopping before the young man.

"Sigh, you can't just kill someone for not being sure about the matter." He said while getting up, and as he moved toward the side, the ice spike shot past him, piercing into the ground behind him. 

"Who are you? And since when did a small White Cloud sect have someone like you?" She said coldly. but she was ignored as the young man went on to stretch his body,

"It has been a good few years since I fought... now, let me beat your ass." He said before he disappeared from everyone's sight... let's pause things right here. You might be confused, but allow me to explain.

Do you see that handsome white-haired guy? thats me. Stop. I know I'm handsome, I'm so cool. I heard all of that long ago... why did you stop, just because I heard it before doesn't mean I don't enjoy it. Don't worry about my ego, it's so big it can't grow any larger.

On a serious note, My name was Wu Xian. and this was pretty much my 2nd life. In my first life, I was an astronomer. I always felt like Earth was too small, so when the day came when I was reaching the end of my life, I picked the best way to go out... through a black hole.

I went on to ride into one, sending reports back to earth on everything that was happening, until I was turned into a spaghetti. the next thing I knew, I woke up in a white room. there I met with god... I know, I read so much about this stuff, and so on and so on.

But this wasn't god but a powerful expert who needed to collect good karma to increase the chances of him breaking through. So, he was collecting the souls of those with high karma and trying to fulfill their wishes.

I came from Earth which was a simple world without Qi, so rarely does he get souls from there. but thanks to the black hole thing, it sent me to a different universe where he was able to sense me. he also noticed how weird it was for a soul to not be destroyed going through a black hole.

Anyway, he asked for 5 wishes from me. since I collected a lot of good karma thanks to the way I died, I was given the maximum amount of wishes he could give. which was 5.

My wishes were simple. the power to instantly master and comprehend anything and everything. The Limitless and 6 eyes, along with... well, that was all of the wishes I could make.

My first wish was to have the power to comprehend anything and everything was going to be hard, for this, he gave me 3 options. the first was for me to reincarnate billions of times over, in each life I would have to do good things to collect more good karma so that in the next life I can be born with better talent.

the second option was to have a sealed place in my mind which would allow time in my mind to flow at such extreme speed, allowing me to comprehend things pretty much instantly. 

lastly, I sacrificed everything so that my next life would have all of the talent, just not the memory of why he has it. that new me would have unmatched comprehension capability, all but unmatched cultivation talent, meaning his speed in cultivation wasn't high.

What did I pick you ask? I picked the 4th option.

"Then let me change the wish. I will only use the Limitless. I just need to master it and also have the 6 eyes. I don't need super high cultivation talent, I just need those two, plus a brighter mind." With that, my wish was granted.

As a powerful cultivator, the expert was easily able to grant my wish. and since it was so small, he was able to use my karma to ensure my next life, I was reincarnated with as much comprehension talent as I could. 

As for what the 6 eyes were? Well, they were a pair of eyes from the Jujutsu Kaisen anime. The Six Eyes are an innate gift rarely inherited within the Gojo clan. They are a nonstandard jujutsu trait manifesting as a pair of bright blue eyes that grant a bearer extrasensory perception.

These eyes were so powerful, that I had to keep a blindfold on, or else the information they took in could cook my brain. But that wasn't a bad thing as I could see through things. I do far more than see through things, I could see the Qi in the air, which was normally impossible, I could see things extremely far, and best of all, it gives me energy control on the atomic level. It also kept my mind clear, and so many other stuff.

But there was a drawback as it couldn't be turned on and off. I had to wear a blindfold, or else all of the information I took on would cook my brain. Luckily for me, my eyes only awakened when I started cultivating, or else it would have been a pain growing up.

As for the limitless, it was a technique which full power can only be brought out using the 6 eyes, thanks to the fact it gives one energy control on the atomic level.

"You're only at Xiantian ." the Ice Blue-haired woman said with a sneer as I appeared before her. I smiled at her while my leg shot forward, before my leg even connected with her arm which she used to block, her pupils shrank as she was sent rocketing down, slamming heavily into the ground.

"That's right, I'm at Xiantian. But thats only because I'm too nice. Instead of thanking me for giving you a chance to win, you're mocking me?" I asked while standing in the air, looking down at her with a cold smile.

"You can fly?" She asked in shock while getting out of the ground. she was truly shocked, the brat in front of her was only at Xiantian, yet she was at the Core Formation realm, yet she was defeated in just one move? She removed the blood from the corner of her lips while floating up, she was simply caught off guard.

'He is at level 10... no, he is above level 10 Xiantian? but level 10 should be the peak,' She thought her pupils shaking in shock while trying to see through me. 

She snorted while a sword appeared in her hands, she shot towards me, just for me to teleport behind her. Her eyes widened in shock as teleportation was something even she thought was impossible, my leg shot forward, and once again, before it even touched her, she felt the impact and was sent rocketing away out of the village.

"I had a feeling this wouldn't be boring. You all sit down and behave" I said while looking at those few who managed to pass the test to join the sect. I shot forward, leaving Yun Che in shock.

'That should be impossible, his foundation is beyond perfect.' A female voice entered Yun Che's voice, confusing Yun Che who quickly asked for answers.

'he seems to have gone beyond level 10 Houtian and stepped into something like... level 11 Houtian. he did the same for Xiantian... but not even the immortal realm has something like this.' the girl said, but she didn't stop there.

'He also cultivated a technique that allows him to use his willpower as a weapon. He didn't touch her, yet his willpower boosted the range of his attack, while also boosting the power of his attack. His willpower should be equal to or second to yours...' She thought, remembering how Yun Che withstood the torture of gaining the evil god's inheritance, 

'Thats not all, the amount of energy he uses is perfect. only those with spiritual sense should have such high levels of energy control. He also has such a profound spacetime technique, teleportation is something that should be impossible for someone with cultivation so low.' She said unable to understand what was going on.

'to make things more confusing, he has black-grade talent. He is trash, it should be impossible for someone with such trash talent to reach such high levels of cultivation. So, he most likely reached this far thanks to his energy control.' She finished, leaving Yun Che quiet for some time.

'how did he stop that ice spike? did he stop time?' He asked as that was something he wanted to know. just in case that person becomes his enemy, he has to know what to do.

'well, thats the complex thing. it's like he increased the distance between himself and the ice spike. I need to see it closer, but there is a risk he can sense me. He might already know you have the Sky Poison Pearl on you. he might not know how valuable it is, so he doesn't care.' She said to which Yun Che took a deep breath, he looked toward where I was, a sharp glint in his eyes... he didn't want to make enemies, but he didn't fear anyone.
