Where are my friends?

"Fire" Kai interrupted Nika, but it was weird he didn't feel nothing inside of him, much less fire. "Where are my friends?"

This question was difficult for Nika to answer and could see her hesitating. "Kai, it's difficult, let's just say we could only get to you and the girls, but the military from another continent grabbed Suro. Saying that all of you are too dangerous to be kept under one continent" hearing this Kai began to get mad.

"How dare other people make decisions for us?" heat was radiating from his body, Nika took a step back thinking she would melt.

"Definitely fire" She said in her head, her hands were starting to cover in ice. She had witnessed the amount of magic the others had and was getting ready, but she noticed something: the heat was even melting the ice she was forming on her hands.

"That's impossible, my ice has rivaled the strongest fire users on Denus, well I guess his heat is greater than anyone's" she now thought it was a bad idea to tell him about Suro.

As Kai read that message the heat started to die down, he now realized what he did. Looking around the bed was darker as if it was starting to burn.

He then turned to look at Nika, whose hands were covered in water. Her body was also visually sweating from the heat. "Mythic?" he thought.

"Sorry, I let my emotions get the best of me. Is there anything we can do for Suro?" he asked with a worried look on his face.

"Tirion Government is constantly negotiating with the Astro Government, but I'll be honest it's not going well from what I know they are keeping him in a coma so his powers don't manifest but even in a coma his magic is too much to be held in and it's producing problems. Kai, I know about you guys' past. I know you don't follow rules, but the world has changed" She answered the question and even gave a detail that infuriated Kai but he kept his emotions in check.

"Suro is in Astro, even before this magic stuff was involved, Astro was the peak of everything" He thought of how hard it would be to break in and get Suro.

At the same time, he was not that worried since it was Suro, who was already a force to be reckoned with. Without magic he couldn't imagine how strong he must be now.

"I wonder how strong he would be?" the image of Akashi popped in his head, he quickly shook his head.

"Kai I know warnings are not going to stop you, so I have a request to attend 2 years in the military academy everyone older than 18 are obligated to because of the beasts" She proposed to the young adult.

"Are the girls there?" Kai asked but was quickly disappointed to find out only one of the girls was there, Darya.

"So Rita didn't even attend the academy because it would be a waste and Sarah graduated" Kai said after Nika informed him.

"Fine I'll go to this academy" He said still thought this was a bad idea, but the only way to find his friends was the academy, since Darya was there.

Nika knew Kai wouldn't stop looking for Suro, so she took off her military jacket and threw it out the window. She only had a sports bra therefore her abs that were lighting marked could be seen, she then turned to Kai which was confused by this sudden action.

"Kai I know you won't stop looking for Suro, but if you do you need to grow stronger, stronger than anyone" She said with a serious voice, the young adult figured the jacket probably had a wire, and she didn't want anyone hearing she was encouraging a possible act of war.

After she stated her wish, she handed Kai a tablet and a watch. She also stated that a few uniforms were on the closet and lastly she suggested that he cut his hair and shave.

Kai was in the bathroom, after a shower he looked at himself in the mirror for the first time in 2 years.

His hair was extremely long, almost reaching his shoulder the red streak on his hair seemed to intensified.

"I got some work to do, maybe I can take this opportunity to change my look. '' He started to cut his hair and shaved his beard, until he was satisfied.

He now looked Like a completely different person, the top of his hair was short but not too short and had a wavy look to it. Its sides were trimmed pretty short like a low fade.

As for his beard it was trimmed really short, he looked pretty good with the new haircut. Now that he was in the mirror you could see his body.

He was very muscular but on the lean side of body types. Through his body scars were visible stab wounds and slashes, but new in his body he could see a mark on his left pectoral, almost seemed like a burned mark.

The mark was that of a flame, but in the middle of the flame was a spiral that connected with the bottom part of the flame, giving it a unique look. He then remembered what happened when he woke up the burning sensation he felt.

"I guess that voice has a lot of explaining to do" he said walking out of the bathroom, towards the closet.

When opened Kai could see 5 pairs of military like uniforms inside, the only difference to the militaries was the color which was black.

The uniform consisted of a jacket, sleeveless shirt, cargo pants and military boots. He put on one of the uniforms except for the jacket, looking in the mirror Kai thought he looked quite good. The uniform was tight and loose in all the right places.

It also didn't affect his mobility at all, but there was a question on his mind: would it resist magic? Not knowing the answer, he decided to look through his system and notice one of his stats had changed

"Did it go up because of what I did earlier?" Kai asked himself but he was distracted by a sudden knock on the room's door.

He walked to the door wondering if it was Nika, but he was wrong. In front of him was a black man in real military uniform, with a tag that said Lt. Jack.
