A Normal Day of Class

A man with dark red hair stood in the middle of what appeared to be a battlefield. The smell of rotten flesh covered the entire area surrounding this person.

This person had what looked to be a type of black tactical armor, but it was stained with blood of different colors, those being red, blue and green.

Others that were a distance away from him were questioning how he could stand the odor of the corpse of the beast around the area.

"How many beasts has he killed already?" A woman asked the group that was beside her.

"I lost count to this point, he really wants to break through the ranks" a muscular man said out loud.

"When did Cain arrive at the wall?" A skinny boy asked the muscular one.

"Just 8 month ago and now everyone knows the name of the Black family thanks to him" the man said in response.

"I hate the beast!" Cain finally spoke, the floor surroundings him started to light up with flames in a ring formation.

The ring of fire expanded, burning all of the corpses around him. He then turned around and was walking towards the ground his emerald green eyes were now visible.

A soldier rushed towards Cain.

"First Lieutenant Black, I have a message from Stone Edge Academy" the soldier spoke standing straight in a salute pose.

"What does the school want? I'm not Nika to be wasting time going there" he said walking away from the soldier.

"It's about your brother Abel, he's been seriously injured in a fight"

This comment stopped Cain in its tracks. "Who is responsible for this?"

"I can't give you that information sir" the soldier said before a pillar of fire erupted underneath him burning him alive.

The soldier couldn't even scream as he instantly was turned to ashes.

"Then you're protecting a criminal and this is your punishment" Cain stopped in front of the muscular guy who apparently wasn't surprised by this action.

"How long will our mission take again?" Cain asked.

"2 Month at least since we need to travel deep within the island" the man said.

"We'll finish in one" with that, Cain started to walk and the rest of the group followed behind without a single doubt that the mission within the wall will end in a month.

Back at the academy the sun was going down and everyone was starting to go into their rooms to get a good night sleep.

Kai on the other hand was doing some basic exercises. Push ups, crunches, squats and using the help of a wood pillar on the roof was doing pull ups.

All of this to get some stats.

After the fight with Abel, Kai's control had gone up six percent. Now with the exercise he increased four in strength and two in stamina.

"Since I leveled the rest naturally I'll use the stat point in Dex"

"I have been doing this for about two hours today. Now it's taking even longer" he said out loud

"I think i need either intensive training with weights or I need another way to raise my stats, that's a problem for tomorrow though" he said heading to the shower to prepare for a night of rest.

5:30 had arrived.

Kai was ready to start the day today he had Magic Theoric Class, Combat Class and Beast Class.

"Why are all the important classes stacked together today?" The young adult complained.

First he had the beast class:

Ms. Stone talked about a high tier, wormlike beast. It was the size of two school buses. Its skin was thick and at one end of the worm a sharp tooth came out, appearing to be the mouth.

"Even though this beast is a high tier it lacks intelligence therefore it can be hunted easily if planned ahead but still be careful since there instinct is to kill on site. The most dangerous time to hunt this beast is in mating season since there probably be around 20 in one area" After sharing some more details about this beast the class was over rather quickly.

The next class was Magic Theory Class.

Mr. Tenco started the class by asking the students about the homework he gave yesterday. Each student gave their answers and reason yet it was clear it was stuff that was already known.

But one of them caught Kai's attention and that was the plasma report given by a nervous ginger-haired girl.

"Plasma is a higher form of fire, plasma is known to be a superheated matter in the form of an electrically charged gas. Know this could be a deadly combo: a hot gas that's electrified being controlled by a person. This higher form basically allows… the person to control electricity as well umm that's all…" the girl finally said the report although the explanation was kind of a mess Kai kinda understood.

Since plasma is an electrified gas a person who can manipulate it perfectly can even create any weapon desire. Not to mention it could be an AoD attack in gas form. This was a step that Kai wanted to take but didn't even know how long it would take.

"Now you guys know that higher forms are complicated to obtain but everyone should be capable of achieving at least one " Mr Tenco stated.

"The higher form of elements are obtained by perfecting once control of his own element and only then you can push it to a new form, a more powerful form" he continued to explain some basic higher form.

Water is Ice

Air is Toxin

Earth is Metal

Fire is Plasma

Thunder is Sound

"Although they're special cases that a person could have a higher form as their main element, although it is rare it commonly happens in the younger generation" the teacher stated.

After that the teacher concluded the class.

The last class of Kai today was one he was most excited for. When he entered the classroom it was already fixed from the incident. Copper was standing in the middle and small burn marks could still be seen on his body.

"Who is ready for a little tournament section?" The Lt said with a smirk.

"This is what I was looking forward to!" Kai said as his eyes glowed for a quick second from the excitement.
