Chapter 110

Orisa and Ina's eyes alerted when the duke woke up from a trance. They both allowed him to find his bearing first before approached him.

"Master?" Ina called out. 

Adelard closed his eyes for the moment before he opened them , staring Cataleya in bed.

"It's a different place with too many strange and unfamiliar things to me." Adelard started. "How long I had been out?"

"As promised, one minute." Orisa said.

"How about the stone? When did it disappeared my hand?"

"Only ten seconds after you left." Ina filled in.

Adelard returned his eyes to Cataleya. "I think I've been there for hours. I met people in different clothing style, riding a machine to travel. They have an entirely different system in there for everything. They didn't have gold coins use to exchange for something. But the way they reacted to the compensation I gave for the ride, it seemed to be of great value for them rather than the paper bills and copper coins."
