Behind the Altered History

After the explosion, I opened my eyes.

And saw that I was in the middle of a jungle.

'Huh? Where Am I?' As I spoke in a nervous tone.

"Notice, Location cannot be determined."

'Huh? I'm sure I was at the arena... And that, Yes! The bright light that came from the Sky!'

"Answer, It was a Magic spell that caused the bright light."

'Hailey? Where's Hailey!? I was with her before the explosion occured! What happened!? Tell me Millis!' As I yelled in desperation.

"Notice, It seems that you were transported in an unknown location, But I can determine that it is within the continent of Erendale."

'What!? Transported? Does that exist? Even you said that Teleportation Skill was forbidden, even with my Creation Skill!' As I complained.

...

A few days ago, When I couldn't sleep due to Kiba's snores.

I began to get homesick and missed my family, That's when I asked Millis if we could create a Teleportation skill with my Creation Skill ability.

But Millis explained that there are boundaries which we can't cross.

And that Teleportation skill is within those boundaries along side the idea I've also thought. The Flight Skill which enables me to fly was also forbidden.

That's when I knew that even my World Skill had limitations.

But now, What Millis just said...

I was transported to another place with magic.

'Millis! I thought you told me that Transportation was forbidden!?'

"Yes, It is forbidden in the World Skill's abilities. Therefore, Teleportation powered by great mana may have a possibility."

'So you mean, I just got teleported by that Huge light that fell from the sky?',

"I cannot answer, Since I too, Don't know."

Then all of the sudden, A scary and ominous voice appeared out of nowhere.

'Kid, You were saved.' As the mysterious voice said.

I slowly turned around and what I've witnessed truly shocked me.

It was A dragon, A really big dragon..

And it had Black skin covered with gray scales, Two large wings that almost covered my vision.

Long two fangs which stands out other than it's entire teeth.

And menacing eyes, which could instigate overwhelming fear upon encountering.

'Kid, What is your name?' As the black dragon spoke.

I shivered and felt unimaginable fear by just standing infront of the dragon, It was the first time I've felt such pressure.

'My, My name is Luna. Luna Jeager.' As I mumbled while speaking.

'You have been saved by my son, after encountering such danger as Divine judgement. That is why you were teleported here.'

'What do you mean divine judgement? And who saved me? Who's your son?'

"Notice, Divine Judgement is a spell created through Light Magic. The Magic that had been long forgotten in this world ages ago."

'Divine Judgement is a Light Magic spell. And my son is bounded to you, You already named him. I think it was Excalibur.' As the Dragon spoke.

'Wha--What!? That magical sword is your son!?' As I asked in a shocked expression.

'Yes, I gave an egg that had a sword form which would someday help the Elves in the upcoming war.'

'So-- That means... You're the God of War!? Alberitus!?' As I yelled towards the Dragon in a shocking manner.

'Yes, I am the God of War they refer to. My name Is Alberitus, A World Dragon.'

I was shocked to see that the God they've told me about was a dragon. I thought all Gods had humanoid forms!?

'It is an honor to meet the God of War, Alberitus!' As I kneeled infront of the Dragon.

'Do not worry about such things, My Son has already gotten attached to you. After giving him a name, He finally broke out from his egg shells.' As the Dragon said.

'Does that mean, Excalibur is a Dragon?' As I summoned Excalibur in my hand.

'Yes, He is a Dragon in a Sword form. As you know, We dragons can take into any forms we like. There is no transformation magic nor skill that exists in this world.'

"Notice, Alberitus is correct. Transformation Skill can't also be created by Creation Skill."

'But, Why save me? Excalibur? Can he take up on another form?' As I asked Alberitus.

'Yes, My son is conscious ofcourse, Well I don't know the reason why he hasn't talk to you, If you still don't know him too well.' Alberitus replied.

Then Excalibur changed it's form into a Baby black dragon which was the same size as me.

'I'm sorry Luna for not telling you, I somehow just felt weird since you always talked to yourself.' As Excalibur said.

'You are really a dragon!? Ohh! Ehem, About that.. You see..' As I explained and told Excalibur about Millis.

'Oh, so you have a World Skill huh?' As Alberitus said.

'How do you know? I mean about the World Skills?' I asked.

'We are World Dragons, Ofcourse we know.' As he replied.

Then after that, I asked Excalibur what had really happened since Millis also didn't know.

Excalibur explained, That the light that appeared from the sky was the long forgotten Light magic.

It was a Light magic spell called Divine Judgement which was targeted unto the entire Arena.

He told me that he has this Self defense skill that teleports His contractor unto a safe place if the Attack or spell is too powerful for the contractor to block or evade.

'So that means.....' As I said in a worried tone.

'Yes, Most likely the people gathered around the arena are all dead by now.' As Excalibur said.

'Hailey!? What about hailey!? Why didn't you transport her along with me!??' As I asked in a desperate tone.

'I'm sorry luna, But I cannot teleport others. Only my contractor.' Excalibur replied.

I fell on my knees as I kept on thinking about my friends deaths, Kiba, Leon, Annie, Ryan and Hailey who were there before the explosion occured.

I've decided that I should head back as fast as I can too confirm what had happened and who casted that powerful spell.

But sadly before I could try to leave, Alberitus stopped me and said.

'I know you are trying to leave, But it's impossible at your condition. We are at the end of the southern direction of this vast continent.

Erendale isn't a small continent. It is really huge, the Kingdom you live in can only be called a small country within this vast lands.'

'What? So I am far away from my family? I need to go and let them know that I'm alive.' As I pestered Alberitus to let me leave.

'It'll take a long journey before you reach your Kingdom, Maybe a year perhaps if you move without inconvenience, that is.' As Alberitus said.

'What do you mean by that?' I asked.

'Father said that, It'll be hard for us to venture this lands without encountering any sorts of dangers. You see, This land was always occupied by different kinds of races before the humans.' As Excalibur replied.

'He is right kid, And also, The Second coming has arrived.' As Alberitus said in a serious tone.

'You mean the prophecy?' I asked.

'Yes, The war that'll follow after the war that had occured years ago. I solely gave away my son for the Protection of the Elven race I treasured dearly. But I did not expect my son to be with you, A mere human.' As Alberitus said.

'Father, The elf that you've bestowed me upon was already at the age where he needed resting. That is why he passed me down to some human he also saw that had potential. But I didn't knew that I'll be soon become a parting gift.' As Excalibur said.

Hearing Excalibur, I felt guilty for receiving him as a Parting Gift....

'I guess you're right, Seeing that elf's appearance, I bet he had lived for over a hundred years already.' As Alberitus replied.

I stood silently while listening to their conversation, And that's when they told me about the truth behind that peaceful kingdom that had war against the monsters.

A few years ago, Emperium and Aldien still didn't have any border walls that secluded themselves within Erendale, And it was still a monster free kingdom, where intellectual monster races would visit from time to time and exchange goods.

It was when, The Kingdom suddenly changed. Aldien along with Emperium began to change instantly.

Arthur Von Douglas IV, a mere fifteen year old child instantly became the King of Emperium without any complaints from all over the humans, elves and dwarves.

And a relationship between Emperium and Aldien suddenly had been established.

It was a sudden big change for the other races that always visited the kingdoms.

The Beast Clan which had different types of beast humanoids thought that it was done by a very powerful brainwashing spell.

So that's when they tried to investigate what had happen.

After the newly appointed king noticed, He then changed the laws of the kingdom that would entirely lead to war. And that's when the First coming occured.

A powerful Individual which had the Human appearance but a different kind of race, They had Ash hair and human looks. But their hair was the Sign to distinguish them from the Humans.

Their race was called Akish.

A superior race which possessed eternal mana and powerful physique.

The Akish tribe were only a few, Since they were really careful with their partners.

But that's when the Monsters asked for their help since the Humans, Elves and dwarves teamed up and waged war against the monsters.

The Akish Chieftain, Doran. Heeded their request and asked how the humans waged war against the monsters.

They said that it was due to a sudden change, And the King ordered the removal of the Non-aggression pact against the monsters that lived in Erendale.

That's how the war started...

The Akish Tribe helped the monsters defend their lands since the Alliance between human, elves and dwarves were dominating their homes.

The Akish Tribe tried to negotiate, and wanted to talk it out without occuring violence.

So then the Akish along with other different races were called to go to the Emperium's territory.

After Entering Emperium's territory, The monsters who could communicate with the humans perfectly couldn't speak.

It was like that their language were altered within the territory.

The Akish Tribe couldn't also understand what the monsters were telling him, But the Leader of Akish Tribe, Doran was very fluent in Human language.

So he asked the the Fifteen year old King what was going on, Why are they suffering from language barrier that had never happened before.

The King told him that his orders are absolute, And will not tolerate any monsters coming inside their territory.

The King obviously skipped Doran's questions but there were no reaction from the other superiors of the Elven and Dwarven kingdom who were also gathered there.

It felt like they were dogs who'd only speak if the King tells them to speak.

After that, Doran told the King that they won't be coming in their territory ever again. So they should stop attacking the monster's homes.

The King arrogantly told Doran that he does not have the right to tell him about such things, If he wishes to, Then He'll do it.

Doran got angry along with the different kinds of races that came with him, Since they could still understand the Human's language but the humans could not understand them without them using the Human Language.

It was a World Law known as "Freedom Sense" to understand each other within erendale, It was like a Skill that every intellectual beings have in this world.

But the language barrier they are suffering at right now was surely done by a powerful spell, Seeing it could also break the World's laws.

That's how the Arrogant King waged war and ordered to kill every monsters that entered their territory, The Akish alongside the monsters immediately retreated seeing them outnumbered, and they didn't brought any weaponry since Doran wanted to talk this out peacefully.

But at the end, It backfired.

Alberitus knew that the Akish was treasured by The Red Dragon Bahamuth.

So He gave away his son to protect the lives of the elven race he also treasured.

In the end, They could only provide such things and could not interfere with the lowly beings quarrels.

As the War occured, It lasted for several months as they defended their territories with both of their attacks.

In the end, The daughter of Doran that was in her early twenties, Got kidnapped by the Humans.

That's when Doran tried to negotiate with the Alliance to let his daughter go, But before Doran could finish his sentence, He was attacked by the three great heroes of erendale that were written in the books then killed The So-Called Demon Lord Doran.

Her daughter had been held hostage, And the Death of Doran made the monsters drop their morales by tenfold which led them to retreat like rabbits.

The remaining Akish Tribe also fled after Doran's death. Seeing their kind were only few, They needed to keep themselves alive even if Doran's daughter was held hostage by the Humans.

That's how the war ended, And the Entire history was changed all of the sudden.

'That's when after a few years, I learned that the Elf who I bestowed upon my son, Passed down my son to a human who I soon known to be the husband of that Hostage Akish.' As Alberitus told me.

'So you mean, my mother? Was the Kidnapped Akish? The daughter of Doran?' I asked.

'Yes, Kid. You are the Grandson of the Akish Chieftain, Doran.' As Alberitus said to me.

That's when I learned the True History behind the Altered History of Erendale.
