A Place far from home

I asked Alberitus why I didn't awaken as a Mana User if the Akish Tribe were loved by mana.

I also told Alberitus about my mother, who was supposedly the Daughter of Doran and couldn't also use mana.

Alberitus hypothetically explained that it was possible that her mother's memories were somehow altered and made her forget how to use mana.

That's when I also realized that my mother told me that she was an adventurer before he met my father.

That confirmed my doubts, That her memories were definitely altered, And Auntie Diane's memories could also have been altered.

There's a really high chance that the entire people of Emperium along with the people from Aldien had entirely got brainwashed.

Then Alberitus, The dragon released black aura that covered his entire body and changed entirely into a Human form.

He had very long black hair that reached his waist, A very sharp eyes with red pupils and Muscular body.

The Jungle we were standing became dark while Black smoke covered the entire area.

After the smoke vanished, The Jungle was no more to be seen.

The entirety of the place I stood instantly changed and turned into some kind of Temple which had torches around the walls and a throne that Alberitus sat on.

"You're asking why you couldn't use mana right?" As Alberitus asked.

'Yes, I assumed that I'm loved by mana since I have the Blood of Akish that possessed Greater mana.' I replied.

'It's simple, You are a Reborner. That is why you aren't able to awaken as a mana user.' As Alberitus pointed at me.

'What? How do you know that?' I asked.

'You can't fool a World Dragon, boy. We're not called Gods for nothing.' As Alberitus spoke with a confident expression.

'I see....' As I replied.

'But, You are not the only Reborner which I've encountered before. There were also other Reborners before.' As Alberitus said.

Just like Millis said, She had a previous owner before me. The Demon that Died by himself, becoming too powerful, Nazaroth.

'So Alberitus, Is there a possible way to check if my parents are okay? I'm still worried about them.' I asked.

'There is, But you can only see them and will not be able to communicate.' Alberitus replied.

'Father, The Dragon's eye is still too early for him to handle.' As Excalibur spoke in a worried tone.

'I know, But he will soon enter the Dragon force phase since he is your contractor.' As Alberitus replied.

"Notice, Dragon Force is where the Contractor and the Dragon joint their powers and become one with another. The Dragon's eye is a Skill which you can use the eyes of the birds to check your specific target."

After hearing what Alberitus said, I immediately asked Millis if I have a skill that can counter the Dragon's eye's side effect.

Millis then answered me that we had, Since we created alot of skills for mental defense after experiencing those overwhelming headaches before.

Alberitus smiled and walked towards me, As he grabbed me at my shoulder and placed his finger towards my forehead and told me to close my eyes.

After I closed my eyes, Darkness was all I could see.

And after some time, I eventually saw the bright blue sky.

And I looked around, I saw that I was at Lindon.

Alberitus voice appeared and told me to visualize the location where my family is at and I will somehow transfer to another Bird that's near the visualized area.

After that, I concentrated on thinking about Nero and As I blinked, I was already infront of our house.

Our gates were crowded, Like they were somehow rallying infront of our house.

My mother and father came out from our house, Handcuffed by Emperium knights.

I could not hear anything, But I knew that they were being arrested.

That's when the Dragon's eye deactivated.

I felt worried seeing them being arrested, But I am in a situation where I can't just cry it out.

'Wow, I did not expect you to end it quietly.' Alberitus asked.

'Oh, So you were really waiting for me to suffer from mental damage?' As I grinned while speaking.

'Hoho! This kid is something else.' As Alberitus spoke and laughed.

Excalibur sighed out of relief.

I told them that I saw my parents being arrested.

Millis assumed that it must have been about the incident on the arena.

Since I suddenly disappeared without a trace, The one who casted the spell must have pushed the blame unto me.

But it was all hypothesis since we still can't determine what's really happening at Emperium right now.

Excalibur told me that we are currently very far from Emperium.

Alberitus also recalled the thing about the prophecy and told me to train If I want to survive.

Alberitus told me that If I want to go back home, I should train myself first.

Since there'll be alot of obstacles to pass through.

Excalibur also agreed, Since his father, Alberitus could not interfere if ever we encounter a danger that's within our grasp to handle.

He also explained that his Defense skill that teleports the wielder to this place can't be used after five years.

It's basically telling me that it has a cooldown.

Alberitus asked me what type of World Skills I have, Since he already knew I was a Reborner, I explained everything and told him.

'So, Creation Skill, Haki and Analysis. That's your three World Skills?' Alberitus said.

'Yes. And my Creation Skill also had a Skill embodiment called the Skill tree. Which could talk to me and provide me knowledge and help, I named her Millis since she had a beautiful voice.' I replied.

'Okay, I know about that Creation skill. But It has an overwhelming headache as a Side effect, And Haki. You can definitely train it, Since Aura already exist in this world. And your Analysis skill is also helpful.' As Alberitus spoke.

'You already know about the overwhelming headache? And What do you mean Haki exists in this world?' I asked.

'Ofcourse, I know every World Skills and their boundaries. Your Haki skill in this world is called Aura, It already exist in this world before you even got born. The home of the Demons or so called Demon Continent had demons capable of using aura. Which ofcourse, I also am able too.' As Alberitus released his black aura.

I thought that I was special, But somehow I feel like a clown for thinking about it.....

Excalibur also changed it's form into a human which had a similar face like mine, But the only difference between us two was our hair. He had pure pitch black hair and was very long like his father's human form.

'Why do you look like me!?' I asked in shocked expression.

'Haha! We're bounded, Ofcourse I'll look like you if I transformed into a human.' Excalibur said.

'Can't you just transform into another human's face?' I asked.

'Nope, You see.. Unlike father that hasn't any contractors. I am a bounded one, So I can only transform into my Contractor's appearance.' He replied.

So I asked, Alberitus and Excalibur about the dragon force they mentioned earlier.

They told me that it is like a fusion, or syncing with each other.

Every dragon that has a contractor we'll eventually pass through the Dragon Force Phase and increase their bond.

The benefits that the Host will receive is the Power of the Dragon.

Learning Dragon force would give the host many benefits.

Since the Host we'll be able to evolve into a Dragon Kin and act as an Honorary Dragon which will also be given Dragon Skills such as Dragon's eye.

The Contracted Dragon will also learn new skills as their Dragon Force level increases.

"But I'll tell you in advance boy, That learning Dragon force would take years to achieve." Alberitus spoke in a serious tone.

I gulped and asked if that meant that I won't be able to go back home even with my World Skills combined.

Alberitus nodded and said.

"Your World Skills might be powerful, But if you encounter Mythical Beasts that possess more powerful abilities, You'll die in no time."

That's when I knew, That the Overpowered skills that I'm so proud of was just normal skills compared to other powerful beings I've yet to discover.

"So, Are you up for the challenge? Even if you don't train Dragon force, You already know that you won't be able to go home safely. The only possibility is, You learn Dragon Force and master it along with your World Skills." Alberitus spoke in a serious tone.

I see, I don't have any choices but to get stronger if I want to go home....

And I'm sure something's happening right now at Emperium, hearing what Alberitus told me that the Second coming has arrived.

"Notice, I do not detect any lies within the Individual, Alberitus's words."

'Okay, Thanks millis. I guess if he could foresee prophecies, I'm sure he'll already know that I'll die immediately if I leave this place.'

"What's your answer boy?" As Alberitus asked again.

'Fine, I'll stay here and train my dragon force with Excalibur. Please Teach me, God Of War.' As I kneeled infront of Alberitus.

Excalibur also kneeled beside me infront of his father, A superior dragon in a Human form.

Alberitus smiled and told us to prepare ourselves since the training won't be easy, and went back to his throne to sit.

Meanwhile, In Emperium, Freedom Academy, Winder City.

When the explosion was about to occur, And I disappeared due to Excalibur's automatic Defense Skill.

The teachers got to barely cast defensive barriers to protect the students gathered all over the arena.

Hailey, Randell and Jake who were inside the Arena managed to survive without being affected by the explosion entirely since the battlefield was totally surrounded by Mana Absorbing barrier that keeps the spells casted inside, from going out.

It also acted as a Magic barrier from outside.

But the Students outside who were unprotected by the Mana absorbers definitely suffered.

Luckily, My friends managed to survive....

But a few students died, alongside the ones who were at the Resting Area.

Hailey looked around as the smoke occured and kept on shouting.

'Luna! Luna! Where are you!?'

But after the smoke disappeared, She could not find me.

She looked around and saw, Students who were completely cheering with excitement earlier, became unconscious with severe wounds in each of them.

Most of them were also dead.

The teachers panicked as they sent medics to provide for the wounded students all over the arena, Principal Luther also cancelled everything and immediately went to Emperium Capital.

Luther reported everything that had happened, That a blinding light fell from the Sky and killed most of the students gathered at the arena.

The Nobles all gathered along with the Military Generals and discussed about what happened.

It was totally confusing for the nobles, after alot of incidents happened.

"First the murders of the nobles, then Rigdan Village and now the Freedom Academy!?" As Duke Leonardo spoke in an angry tone.

They all argued on who to blame for all of this, But Luther said that there was a student who completely vanished.

That's when the blame about the Incident at Freedom Academy was all pushed towards me.

And Immediately sent knights to arrest my family.

But the King had a very nervous look on his face since he already knew who the culprit....

"Light magic, Their moving early than expected.." He said as he Sighed.

Since the King himself, Arthur Von Douglas IV had a secret he hid to everyone.

A secret that soon will be exposed, And the main reason for the Down fall of Emperium.
