16. The Right Way

Queen Ladyana who had recovered was then placed in the princess palace along with Princess Mariana. With the strict guard put in place by the soldiers and maids, the both of them could only endure all the treatment patiently. They actually wanted to leave the palace because they felt they had no right to live in the palace.

Several times Queen Ladyana tried to find an opening that she could use to step away from the kingdom of Arrandelle, but several times she tried to keep the soldiers aware of the intentions in her heart.

King William was stunned when he heard reports from the soldiers who said that Queen Ladiana did not feel at home in his palace.

"Tell me what should I do? I don't want to torture my future wife but I also can't let her leave my palace because it's very dangerous for their safety. I'm sure someone is chasing her and trying to kill her but I don't know who it is. ."

The soldier sitting opposite King William lowered his head while trying to find an alternative that he could use to keep Queen Ladyana in the palace and be comfortable there. After a moment of thought, the soldier finally found the right way.

"My majesty. There are some common methods your highness uses to keep Queen Radiana here."

King William looked at his soldiers then nodded. He told his soldiers to say what was currently on his mind.

"The first way is to marry the Queen of noble practice."

"Why do you think like that? I myself actually have the same feelings as you think but I don't have the courage to do so. Me and her have only met once and I'm sure she will reject all my wishes like she refuses to stay in her home. My palace. She is a good woman who does not only look at the wealth and position of a man. She is not the same as other women out there who intend to approach me so that they have a high position."

The soldier and king William were silent. Several times they took a deep breath trying to think of other alternatives they could do to make Queen Ladyana comfortable in the palace.

A while had passed and there was no sign of them finding the right way. King William then stood up and walked out of the hall to the princess palace to meet Queen Ladiana and peek at her activities there.

Arriving at the princess palace, King William was stunned to see Queen Ladyana still sitting in the corner of the yard watching the flowers grow so fresh in the backyard. Queen Ladyana looked very gloomy, especially when she looked at a flower in the corner of the garden. The woman then stood up and walked over to the cactus flower. A little flower that barely got the attention of the maids all along. She stretched out her hand trying to hold a small pot containing a cactus flower that was round like a button mushroom. Queen Ladiana lifted the pot and brought it back to the bench where she was sitting.

Queen Ladyana continued to look at the cactus plant in her lap. She reached out to caress the cactus top carefully but suddenly she screamed.

"Ow"

Queen Ladyana let go of the small pot in her lap and let it fall in front of her. She raised her hand and tried to suck the blood out of her index finger pierced by the cactus thorn. King William, who had been standing for a long time, immediately ran over to the practice queen and hugged the woman.

"What happened to you? Why suddenly scream and drop the ugly plant?"

Queen Ladiana was stunned to get treatment from King William which for her was too much. She hugged her tightly as if she didn't want to let her go.

"I-I, please let me go! I'm fine. It's just a minor wound and you don't need to panic like that. I was just shocked and didn't intend to seek anyone's attention."

King William then moved his body position in front of Queen Ladyana. He squatted in front of the woman and then looked at the pretty face of Queen Ladyana who was currently blushing. He was really embarrassed to get such sweet behavior from King William. He bit his lip to brace himself so he wouldn't be easily swayed by King William's deadly seduction.

"Don't bite your lips like that because I'm afraid you'll hurt your lips. I don't want you to get sick just because you're ashamed of me. Think of me as your brother or think of me as a friend whom you can use as a place to talk about all the problems you have. I will be happy to help you. Whatever your problem, you can count on me."

Queen Ladyana nodded. It was all she could do to make King William leave her; she is alone in the garden but hope remains hope. Instead of leaving her alone, King William is now taking a chair and sitting in front of Queen Ladyana.

There was no conversation between them until a few moments later a waiter came with some food and drinks.

"Forgive me, Your Majesty, Her Majesty Queen Ladyana has not eaten since this morning. Perhaps together with Her Majesty the King she can enjoy this dish."

King William shook his head then he took the tray of food from the servant's hand. He does not know what Queen Ladyana is currently feeling but King William is sure that Queen Ladiana has a big problem in her life.

"You can leave us servants. I'll make her eat today. I'll feed her if she doesn't want to eat herself."

"Good, Your Majesty, I leave all this responsibility to Your Majesty."

King William smiled then he nodded. He immediately put the food in his hands and tried to seduce Queen Ladyana.

"Tell me which one you prefer! Do you eat alone or do I feed you?"

Queen Ladiana shook her head. There is no choice she can take. Neither option she chose because both are very difficult. To this day she has no desire to eat at all.

"Okay fine if you don't choose the chairman. I'll go for the third choice. No one can argue with me even if it's you."

Queen Ladyana widened her eyes when she saw King William getting closer to her and sitting next to her. She tried to shift her body but she failed. King William has laid down the tray of food and he is now locking the movement of Queen Ladyana.

"What do you want to do? I don't want to eat and please don't ever force me to do something I don't want. Even if I don't eat I'm sure it won't affect your life. I'm not the special woman you need to treat like that. I get to choose what I should do and what I shouldn't do."

No answer. King William remained in his activities. He tested Queen Ladyana's movements and then he took the food and brought it to his mouth then he brought his lips to Queen Ladyana's.
