Chapter Nineteen

Ruger and the three other Lords sat in the study as Alora read the book for them. They seemed to be paying maximum attention to the girl that was reading to them.

"Radolph would kill and maybe win the whole war. The humans would have to sacrifice something to be able to end this war. In the end werewolves would take that thing not because it only belonged to Radolph, but it is very important to every living soul." Alora flipped the page of the book to the last page. "The person would be the one to make the werewolf end this war. If the person isn't found on time, the werewolves would own the visible world."

"Is there a hidden world?" Aero asked Alora.

"The witches kingdom. It is hidden from everyone but is still on this side of the earth." Alora explained before she started to yawn sleepily.

"Go and get some sleep Alora. Thank you so much." Ruger nodded and Alora smiled before walking out of the study.

"It didn't tell the gender of the person." Diego sat down next to Dean.

"It is obviously a female. Remember back then, Radolph's mate died. The only person that it would be that can end the massacre would be her. The girl was really special and had a hidden talent. Just that no one knows what she looked like. No one at all." Dean rubbed his chin and the three Lords frowned.

"But she's dead. Does that mean the werewolf would continue this mad killing when the humans have retreated long ago. We tried to settle things with them but they weren't reasonable at all. Or could it be that she is not dead?" Ruger asked. "We have to find her."

"Are you nuts? Only he would be able to know who his mate is. And if we try to even look for a woman, how are we sure she is the one? No one knows what she looks like." Dean buried his face in his palms.

Alora walked up to her room after checking up on the werewolf that was sleeping peacefully. She helped him clean his wounds and add new herbs on it.

Alora slept for a long time before she finally started her own day which was just reading, reading and reading. Ira walked into her room looking at her with a tired expression.

"Alora, you are starting classes tomorrow." Ira informed her. "You look sick."

"I'm okay." Alora stood up and collected the book she had brought in.

"Okay then."

Alora started to feel sick after she had dinner that evening. She tried her best to mix some herbs to take but it seems like her body system isn't even accepting her own herbs again.

She laid on bed and closed her eyes. Soon she fell asleep. Alora saw herself running and running into a particular forest. Fire was all around her and she could hear noises here and there.

"Alora run. Run." She heard a feminine voice which sounded weak and tired. She didn't see the woman's face.

"But…..what about you?" Alora asked.

"I'll be fine. Go Alora, go Alora…."

"No… Mother...."

Alora shot her eyes open and looked around her room. Her throat was dry and she could feel the heat of her body. She seemed to be having a high fever. She groaned as she sat up to pick the glass of water on her bed side table but the glass fell and broke on the floor, and she fell along with it.

A groan escaped her lips as she sat up but slipped due to the water on the floor and her hand got cut by broken glass on the floor.

"This morning is … getting… worse…. each passing…. second." She groaned as she supported her head with the bed. She wanted to reach out to press the bell but she couldn't move. Her body felt numb and she knew she might collapse any time soon. She felt as if her organs were being squeezed and all the water from her body was being drained.

Alora fought hard to stay conscious. She knew if she was unconscious for more than two hours, she might kick the bucket straight away. She gathered all her strength and dragged herself to the bell. Immediately her hands reached the bell and rang it, she fell on the broken glass and lost consciousness straight away.

A maid rushed in and a scream escaped her lips when she saw Alora lying on the floor with blood rolling out from her stomach.

Everyone rushed into the room and the royal doctor was called immediately. He quickly checked on her and pursed his lips before he continued giving her herbs. "Will she be fine?"

"She should be."

"Ava, do you know any of her treatments? Maybe you can know the ones she had mixed to give to her?" Arielle asked Ava who rushed to the table where Alora's herbs were made.

"No, she didn't make any herb."

Down in the underground room, the werewolf was trying hard not to howl in pain. It was feeling an indescribable pain which was somehow linked to Alora's pain.
