'What we are, Shay depends on you. What are we, what are we really?' Xavier's words rang loud and clear across Shay Zephanie's mind. Briefly running her hand on her lips, she felt the butterflies in her stomach remembering how Xavier's warm lips pressed on hers.
That kiss, it somehow seemed different from the first kiss they had shared before. That initial kiss was empty, meaningless. However, the kiss from earlier was genuine and, if she was to be bold, it was passionate.
Closing her eyes, Shay Zephanie let the silence in the same room that she and Xavier had shared a kiss lull her into her thoughts. She was swimming, thinking of all possibilities.
