The Sukiru are sources of power for the shōbō-shi clan.

The colors of the sukiru do not have anything to do with the clans and respective colors.

However they do signify the four orders of sukiru:

Kōgeki sukiru(which specialize in attack - they can channel through weapon such as sword and staffs), shīrudo sukiru (which specialize in defense), supīdosukiru (which specialize in moving around), nenriki sukiru (are like telekinesis which specialize moving the sukiru, object and living things).

Members of different clans can use sukiru that are different colors from them.

The strongest of sukiru are mainichi, and there is one mainichi for each order of sukiru.

A user can only wield 2 sukiru - one of each type.

Which means that a shōbō-shi cannot wield multiple sukiru of the two types(unless they wield mainichi, which grants the user access to all sukiru within that category).
