19. Incident at the Auction

"Took you two long enough, how fan two grown man the last to get ready?" said Tabitha, which Vincent answered with a smile "Woah, you all look good" Said him.

"Ah and also, I apologize to make you all wear black and white, We are the host for this event so I didn't want to stand out over the guest but I guess we don't need Rey's family to match the dress code" Said Vincent feeling he have wronged us.

"It's no problem at all, I'd be uncomfortable wearing bright colors anyway" Said Mum understanding Vincent, "moreover the boys look quite good wearing black" She continues.

After thay Vincent told everyone to go to the carriage, but on the way he place his hand on Art shoulder and say something around the line of Lilia progressing well with Art training her, well its not my business I guess.

Me and Art are sitting with the Twin Horns and mum and dad with Helstea Family, in the carriage we were talking about how hard its must be for us to fell down the cliff and what happens afterwards.

Sylvie was having a staring contest with Jasmine the whole way and Mars seems to enjoy himself in Angela Mountain, well its normal I guess.

After sometimes passed we arrive at the Auction house, a grand one at that 'woahh.. this place is bigger that the one I've seen in the Royal Capital from England' I thought.

we were walking through the back door until we separate, Mum, Vincent and Tabitha need to attend some guest and My Father goes full leader mode giving the guards some instruction to go where they were assigned, its quite amazing seeing him lead like that with how usually he is around us.

after sometimes, Mum and Tabitha come back, and we were led to the private viewing room on the second floor, after getting us comfortable the Auction is starting and a lot of people comes in with a lot of them seems to be noble or rich class.

while after that, Sometimes passed with Ellie counting the number of people who comes, a servant come and tells us that the VIP guest has come and we were told by Tabitha to welcome them.

we were standing until Vincent announce who has come, "May I present, His majesty Blaine Glayder and Her Majesty, Priscilla Glayder, with the Royal Prince and Princess Curtis Glayder and Kathlyn Glayder" Said Vincent.

'hm? That prince seems to be nothing special, he does not have a King aura but maybe its concealed or not grown yet, but Kathyln seems to have the aura of a leader, but still had the immature one in it' I thought after welcoming them.

"I don't expect we will be sharing the room with another guest vincent" Said the King, "Forgive me for being presumptuous your majesty but, I remember that you want to meet my family again the last time you were here, and I thought today would be a good time for that" Said Vincent explaining to the King.

After that Vincent introduce us to the King and his family, in that moment, sylvie ran out to Arthur with Mars leading, Mars walking proud knowing that someone in power is nearby and he seems to notice that so he don't want to show any weakness.

'This boy sure is smart' I thought, "My, what a cute mana beast, its seems to be reptilian but more.. intelligent" said The Queen.

"And this is your bond young man?" the King ask me who is infront of him, "Yes your majesty, his name is Mars" I said in respect.

"How fortunate, even infant mana beast are not easy to tame and he seems to be quite obedient" said the king while he extend his arms for a pet, but got a growl from mars as a result.

"I'm sorry Your Majesty, Mars is a proud wolf Race and he don't like to be pet by those who he deems as enemies or stranger, so its just his way of defending him self, I beg your pardon" I said apologizing for the growl Mars game to the King.

"Its fine, a mana beast is still a beast, and you said he is wolf? but why does he have wings?" ask him.

"We don't know ourself your majesty, we found them in the wild and its parent are dead while holding two eggs, and they're what come out of the eggs and from that point become our bond" I explain.

"Interesting, well I'm sure it will grow to be a strong partner for you" He said Ending the conversation which I answer with a simple thank you.

The auction are starting after some regards to his Majesty and to the attendant, it continues with some fierce betting wars and some regret sigh, but all in all the auction is quite fun.

While its happening I was observing the Queen who seems to be a conjurer by how she has a wand in her waist, I glance at it and Arthur seems to do the same but got noticed, its seems because of my Darkness element many people would find it hard to notice me.

"Yo what're you thinking?" asked Arthur who seems to see me in a deep thought.

"Nothing, just some trivial staff, you?" I asked back.

"Same, I was waiting for this to end so I con Choose my sword, want to come?" Art said, "nah, I'll pass, but... You know that we've been watched by that magician the whole time right?" I asked in a hushed voice.

"I do, he seems to be interested at Mars and Sylvie but I don't know why, and even after you explain it to the King, he seems to not buy it, so?" Arthur said and ending it with a look who want me to search for solution.

"Have you successfully do the second phase? it in line of time magic right?" I asked and get a weird look from Art about how do I get to know this.

"No need to be surprised, with how many times we spars, I notice that my reaction seems to be slower by a bit in some moment, so I notice that, but the question is, how far can you use this abilities, if by I mean if he tries something around the line of taking Sylvie, do not... I mean do not kill him, it will make unnecessary problem for us" I said to Art.

"If he really tries to do it, then try to make a commotion, even the king can't save him with many person as a witness, and if you were forced to the point where you can't do anything but fight back, activate the mark, I'll be there, but I know you are to prideful to do it so, I hope you can't make the best choice" I said ending it after I explain what he need to do.

Later after that, Vincent takes art to see the auction who seems to be selling sword at the moment, Art goes with him while I decide to sit in the bar wanting to snuck some alcohol, its not like I like alcohol but it just helps calm you down.

~BOORINGGGGG I want to write about the adventurer part soon but I'm afraid if I skip all of this then many people will say "Oh you skip too many part bla bla bla" Well, its just rambling but, I really do find it boring, and for you who thought its a copy of the original with a small change in it even if its only small change here and there, you will soon understand that all of it is connected with one another, so stay tune for the reveal.
