Arthur Leywin POV

My parents laughed as if they were crazy, the others just looked at me strangely except Ellie. But they all stay silent.

"King Grey... So the fight, your talent in magic..." Dad mumble pinching his nose.

"Yeah, the KI system in my old word work to certain aspects of mana in this world." I explained.

"Hehe... You're joking right? You almost got us, you're joking aren't you?" My mother had a crazed looks as she asked me.

I didn't give a reply and stay silent.

"You're not some sort of old man and killed my unborn child aren't you! Tell us is the time we spend a joke to you or It's genuine." My mother asked.

"The emotions I show to all of you were all genuine. And none of them is an acting, please believe me." I replied, I then saw my father stand up and raised his fist toward me.

I can see from the corner of my eye, that Ellie also stood up but unlike my father. She's trying to help me, to stop father on what he's about to do.

I closed my eyes, waiting for the fist of my father to hit me. But instead of being hit, I feel some patted my head, I then hear a laughter across the room.

Opening my eyes, I saw everyone laughing except, Ellie who was looking at them confused.

Reynold Indrath POV

As Arthur said he want to tell us his secret. I looked at my wife for her to shrugged her shoulder in response.

He then told us his 'secret', I then once again look at my wife and send her a message through our bond.

' ah, so that's it. It's not like we don't know it though.' I said, and my wife nodded.

'why don't we scare him a little, you know for entertainment. It's rare for him to show this expression after all.' I added.

'are you sure Rey? I don't know it because it seems Art know how to hide his thoughts. So I didn't know about this plan of his, but I can sense that his worry and fear of how we will view him after this.' Alice replied.

' don't worry, it's not like we're going to do it that bad. Just act and scare him a little.' I said as my wife nodded.

I shot some glare to the others, saying that don't interfere on what about to happen. They all shake their heads and sighed in defeat, Adam just look at us with amused smile.

I then heard a voice inside my head, it was Angela. She told me she's going to tell the others except Ellie, to not interfere on what about to happen.

As Arthur finished his story. We started our acting, I can saw from the corner of my eye they all looked at us amused. Except Arthur and Ellie who had fear and worry.

As I raised my fist acting as if I'm going to punch him. I saw him closed his eyes and accepted what about to happen. Ellie stood up and rushed towards me, trying to stop me.

I decided it's enough, and I patted Arthur's head. We all laughed at his and Ellie's reaction.

"What's going on? Why are you all laughing?" Ellie asked.

"Why wouldn't we? The expression Arthur had is priceless!" Adam replied laughing.

"And here I thought the secret is something serious." Helen giggled along with Angela and Alice.

"W-wait isn't it something to worry about?! I'm literally someone who had almost fifty-years old, in a child's body!"Arthur yelled. And we stopped laughing.

"Arthur to tell you the truth, it is something you shouldn't worry about." I said and he and Ellie looked at me confused.

"If only you allowed me to finished the secret I'm going to say. You wouldn't be laughed by us, so listen about my story first, okay? And forget about your past life first" He just nodded and gesture me to continue.

"Arthur what do you think about our family?" I asked seriously.

"It was fun being around with you, and mom is a loving and caring person. Unlike my past life I don't have a family, and It's the best family I could ever ask for." Arthur replied.

This answer caused for adam to laugh, while the others shakes their head. I facepalm at my son's stupidity, I already told him to forget about his past and he just said it again.

"I think Rey, isn't talking about that Arthur. I think he's talking about your family prowess." Jasmine explained, to which I nodded.

"Oh, sorry about that. About that I found our family unique. Since I read from the books when I was a toddler that, human mana core will be formed during their pre-teen not born with one." He said scratching the back of his head.

"Yes. Human need take until their pre-teen for their mana core to form. But it was only the case for humans." I  explained as both Ellie and Arthur looked at us confused.

"What do you mean 'only'? Are you saying we are not human?"Ellie asked.

"Of course we are human, look at our ears, we have the same ears the human had." Arthur replied, pointing at his ear.

"Oh you are right brother! We do have the same ears that human had!" Ellie said holding her ear.

This idiots.

"Can the two of you shut up for a moment?" I asked a little annoyed. They both shut their mouths and nodded.

"As I was saying those are the case for humans. Since we are a different race from humans, we are born with our mana core already formed." After I finished my words Arthur and Ellie laughed.

"Dad are you sick? We looked like a human and you're telling us we aren't one?" Ellie asked.

"Good joke dad. If we are not humans what are we a dragon? HAHAHAHA." Arthur said, and he and Ellie laughed.

"Yes, you guys are from the dragon race." Helen chimes in. Both  Ellie and Arthur jaw dropped, if it was someone else I know they wouldn't believe it.

But it was Helen who said it, and they know she wouldn't tell a lie to them. Arthur and Ellie look at us asking if it's true, while Alice and I just nodded.

"I don't get it! Sylvie is also a dragon and she hatched from the egg, not born from the light!" Arthur exclaimed.

"Light?" Caera asked tilting her head.

"Oh it was what the phenomenon people from my old world said when they were brought back from a near death experience. That's also what I saw before I was born as Arthur." Arthur explained as we nodded.

"And if we are one, I should be bonded to someone. And I'm not bonded to someone other than sylv." Arthur added. I then saw his eyes widen and look to where Alice is.

"H-how?" He asked pointing a finger.

"But I don't remember being bonded to mom!" Exclaimed Arthur, while Ellie looked at him confused.

' Hello Ellie." I said through our bond.

Ellie's eyes widen as she looked at me.

"What is that?" Ellie inquired.

"It's the thing we called telepathy. You can only do it to the person you are bonded with." I explained as I saw her eyes brightens.

"And you can also see the memories of the person you are bonded with." I added and I saw Ellie's eyes widen in fear.

"Hahaha. You're joking right dad? You can't see my memories can you? Haha.." Ellie nervously laughed.

"Too bad I can, you can ask Taci for confirmation. Isn't that right Taci?" I said looking at the boy who gulped, and nodded.

"Well let's continue, there are nine race of Asura; the dragons, djinn, phoenix, basilisk, leviathan, pantheon, titan, sylph, and hamadryad, almost all of us live in the continent of Asura we call epheotus, except for the djinns and a few clans from the basilisk race, who they live in either Dicathen or Alacrya." I continue my explanation about our origins.

"But, after the incident centuries ago, the nine clans was reduced to eight." I added and variety of emotions were shown inside the room.

"You mean a whole clan of deities were annihilated?" Jasmine asked to which I nodded.

"Yes. But don't call us deities, we aren't deities we are Asura." Adam replied, and jasmine nodded.

"Where is Alacrya?" Ellie asked.

"Alacrya is the place Noah and Caera came from. The one who governed the continent of Alacrya is Sylvie and Noah's father, Agrona." I replied.

"W-wait you're saying that, Noah and Sylvie are siblings?" Arthur Asked.

"Yes. And they are also your cousins since agrona is my brother." Alice replied, that caused Arthur and Ellie's eyes to widen.

"You're serious about this? That's mean they were both mother Sylvia's childrens?" Arthur asked.

"Yes! And about sylvia she's your aunt, because she's my sister." I replied.

"Your what?!" Arthur shouted standing up.

"Yes, Sylvia is my elder sister." I repeated.

"Who's Sylvia brother? How do you know about her?" Ellie asked.

"When I fell from the cliff, Sylvia was the one who helped me. And she was also the one that gave me Sylvie's egg." Arthur explained with sadness.

I feel three presence making their way toward us. Arthur sense it too, so he take out his sword from his ring.

"Where did you get that sword Arthur?" Durden inquired.

"Oh this? I got this in the armory of the auction house." Arthur responded.

"Isn't that the sword that madman was creating back then?" Adam asked.

"Yes it is." Angela replied looking at the sword.

"You guys know who created this?" Arthur asked and we all nodded. "Who?"

"It's wren kain, a titan just like Durden." Helen answered.

"What a sword made of Asura doing in that place?" Arthur asked no one in particular.

"Well knowing him I'm sure he think that sword is a failure." Durden explained.

"That's a failure?! That's the best sword I ever knew!" jasmine exclaimed.

The three presence we sense earlier finally arrived where we are. Entering the room is the three person we already know, Cadell seris, and cylrit.

"What are you doing here?! I wouldn't forgive you for what you did back then!" Arthur inquired looking at cadell releasing his killing Intent, the only one who are affected by it was Ellie, Taci, Caera and jasmine.

Cadell then removed it buy using his own, allowing for the four to breathe since they couldn't earlier.

"Greetings your highness Reynold Indrath, Lady Alice Vritra, and Prince Noah Vritra." They took a knee and bow at us, I gesture for them to stand up, and they then started to greet the others.

"May I ask who are you boy? I don't remember knowing you or seeing you before. And what happened back then?" Cadell inquired.

"You bastard! And you're saying you already forgot about sylvia?" Arthur asked, to which Cadell looked at him confused.

"Lady Sylvia? Of course I know her. Who wouldn't?" Cadell replied.

Arthur want to say something but Noah stopped him.

"Arthur that's Cadell, my father's right-hand man. And if your talking about what happened when you meet my mother, Cadell wasn't there because my father is the one who searched for my mother." Noah explained.

"Maybe Cato used an illusion spell, when he entered the cave you were in that why you thought it was Cadell." Noah added.

"Cadell, seris, cylrit, this is Arthur and Ellie, uncle Rey and aunt Alice childrens." Noah introduced them to each other.

"So why are you here?" Noah asked.

"High sovereign asked us to comeback since your aunt was here anyway. And we also have our duties we need to do back in Alacrya." Seris replied.

"We are only here to say our goodbyes, before we left." Seris added. The three of them then left after saying a few words.

"Okay back to the topic. Centuries ago when the djinns still existed they live in the continent of Alacrya and Dicathen back then. Unlike the others Asuras who are using mana. The are djinns using aether, and they have what we call aether core." I explained.

"Aether what's that?" Ellie inquired.

"Aether is the fifth element we had, beside the djinns the dragons can harness them better than the other races could." I explained.

"But unlike the other Asuras the djinns are all pacifist, that's what even though the aether is the strongest element we had. They were still annihilated because they only used it to improve their daily life." I added.

"Who killed them?" Arthur asked.

"It was the Asuras mortal enemy, the demons." I replied.

"No one really know that they were being attacked, that's why no help arrived from the other Asuras in epheotus." I added.

"That's horrible." Arthur mumbled with darkened face.

"Even though the djinns are pacifist, they still control the strongest element we had to their will. And thanks to the aether, the strongest mana arts the demons had is useless against them. And they managed to kill almost half of their army thanks to it." Noah said hoping to cheer up Arthur.

"But even so, the other Asuras rarely go down, so it take until a decade before we found out the djinns were killed. We only knew it during the meeting of all the clans, but the djinns who are the earliest among them all are not there. That's why my father send someone to call them but, they don't find anyone other than ruined city." I said as I continued my story.

"Noah can you continue since you know, more than I from this." I asked and he nodded.
