Chapter 1 School Heartbreak

Tori Watson was never a girl who liked dresses, pink or anything too girly for that matter. She'd rather play outside in the mud, go hiking or play video games, but when grade 12 hit she was determined to confess her love to the schools jock Jack Middleton, the schools star quarterback for the football team. That morning Tori decided to wear a light pink dress with white flats, far from her comfort zone but she wanted to impress Jack. Entering her home room for the first hour of the school day, Tori could feel her peers staring at her, it made her uncomfortable but she pushed it aside for now.

"OMG, is that Tori?" A girl whispered to her friends

"Can you believe she'd actually wear something like that!" Tori growled but didn't want to cause a scene, simply sitting at her seat the strawberry blonde ignored the murmurs.

Class begins, and it was was all about being welcomed back to school and a course introduction. Since it was Tori's final year of this dreadful in-suffering, she planned on making the most of it. Or so she thought.

'I wonder what classes Alexandra has right now?' Tori thought as she stared at the clock, time seemed like it was taking it's sweet time to change to the third hour. When the bell finally rung, Tori was the first to leave the classroom in search of her only friend she has.

Alexandra was spotted sitting at the far lunch table in the cafeteria closest to the window, the view was over looking the school courtyard which was decorated in delicate flowers-ranging from Lilies to sunflowers, it was a sight to be hold that was for sure- Tori smiled and forced her way through the crowed area to the table.

"Alexandra!" Tori called out but her voice went rigid when she saw another figure sitting at the table, moving closer the girl got a better look, it was non other than Jack Middleton.

To be polite Tori simply cleared her throat which startled the two kissing teens who pulled apart, Alexandra smiled when she spotted her friend and had Tori sit down. Something within girl didn't sit right and Tori was trying to not explode with anger, Alexandra was the first too break the silence.

"So I'm sure you already know who Jack is Tori, I mean of course you do since you often help out the football team" Alexandra explains to which Tori nodded

"Yeah I do, so how was your summer break?" Tori asked trying hard to not think about Jack. "It was good! I spent most of it with Jackie here" Alexandra said

"And I have you to thank for it. If you hadn't helped out with the football team, I wouldn't have met him." Tori was filled with rage at this point, her face was red and almost matched her hair colour.

"Is that why when I asked if you would like to hang out, you said you had already made plans for something else?"

"Yep, and I only came here to say thank you. Our friendship is over, I don't want to be caught hanging out with someone like you, besides I have Jack and his friends now." Alexandra says getting up with Jack and walked over to the Jock table. Tori got up and rushed to the restroom, her eyes over flowed like a river with tears as she slammed a stall door closed.

Hearing the bathroom door open and close Tori stopped her crying and held in her sniffling, she didn't need people to start belittling her for running away like a wimp. The footsteps came towards the stall she was in and stopped, it was silent for a good minuet or two before the second person in the room spoke up.

"Are you alright Sweetheart?" The voice was belonging to a male, it was deep almost like a growl from deep within a beast or monster.

'Sweetheart? Sweetheart! I am no one's sweetheart' Tori thought and threw the stall door open, she ran into a firm chest which wasn't at all what Tori expected to be greeted with. Looking up to see who she had run into, fear fell over her, it was none other than Jared Edwards-better known as 'The Devil' at school, because of his un-godly looks and extreme strength he seems to possess whenever he's enraged-Tori gulped and took a step back.

"I am not your sweetheart" After those words left her mouth Tori regretted it as Jared leaned down towards her, he whispered into the girls ear which sent chills down her spin. His breath was hot against her skin and it made Tori freeze in her spot.

"You're mine and I can call you whatever I want," Jared walked out of the restroom and Tori just stood like a wax figure, afraid to move or make any type of sound

'What just happened?' Tori thought as she finally came to her senses, splashing water on her face the girl stared into the mirror and sighed. Today was just not her day.

The bell rang indicating that next classes were about to begin, leaving the room Tori made her way to math class. The hours seemed to tick by slowly after the encounter, Tori couldn't focus on what her teacher was saying as her mind was filled with questions, some of which she could answer while some remained a mystery to her. Finally after a long and dreadful wait the bell rung and school was over for the day, and Tori left as fast as possible wanting to get away from the place of torment.

As Tori was walking home, she couldn't help but feel like someone or something was following her. It sent an uneasy feeling in her gut one that makes you want to throw up and force yourself to ignore it, glancing over her shoulder she spotted a black car that was following her.

Turning her gaze back to what's in front of her Tori started walking faster hoping that the car would pass by her, however, it seemed luck wasn't on her side today at all. Next thing Tori knows is someone grabbing her from behind and placing a cloths over her mouth, darkness engulfed her vision and black spots danced around before she saw nothing
