Thankfully, although everyone seemed to have realized our identities at a glance, they didn't bother us much. They really know how to read the air, and I'm thankful for it.
After walking a bit, we entered the marketplace. It was a long street filled with stalls on either side of the road, the most bustling part of the town as of now.
As we were walking along the middle of the road, I could see Fang's gaze turn to the stalls that were cooking various dishes... mainly meat dishes. Skewered meat, to be specific.
"You want some?"
I did recall that we still hadn't had breakfast, so without waiting for her reply, I walked to the nearest stall and asked the shopkeeper.
"Sir, give me 10 sticks, please."
"Right'o! Ah, Pr—!"
"SHHH!"
The shopkeeper seemed like he was about to call my name out loud, so I quickly blocked his mouth.
"We don't want to attract a lot of attention, so please keep quiet."
