A Dark Premonition

Ember and the others, as soon as they saw Will and Fang disappear together with Nero, quickly approached the portal that was on standby.

"Quick! Go to safety! Return to the castle now!"

Ember urged as she expanded the portal once more, spending a large chunk of her energy. She was right to keep the portal open. If she had to reopen it from this side, then her current energy wouldn't have been enough!

"Hurry!"

The others listened to her and passed through the portal one after another. In the end, everyone but Ember's 8 clones piloting her Exoskeletons, and Ansael, who was keeping her promise to Will, was left.

Ember's expression was filled with worry as she looked at the spot where Will and Fang vanished. She stood stock still, as if not wanting to escape just yet.

"Miss Ember?"
