Inside the king's chamber.

"The doppelganger has released Ava, but the reason he held Marleen behind is still unknown," Michael reported. He was alone with Dominus.

"Did you find his location?" Dominus asked. His face held no emotion as he stared in one direction.

"According to Ava, he concealed his location with a spell," Michael answered.

"How's Ava, did you–"

"Yes. She's shackled in the underground cellar. Nobody knows of that basement except us." Michael said.

"Good." Dominus simply let out. "I'll be going to the church today, I heard the recruits are arriving tomorrow."

"And Micheal, don't tell Forsyth Marleen didn't arrive with Ava. I don't want him creating further problems."
