Waking Torture

The shadow of Marc Tally was long gone before he know it.

Heon awoke to shiver. Exhaustion closing in. Pain surrounding him. He laid against the wall, clutching his injury. He clenched his teeth , trying to muffle his loud sob. He cried in pain, trying to move, but couldn't.

He wheezed and eventually laid on the stone. His blood soaked fingers touched his left hand, feeling the white seams around his forearm. Heon sighed and counted the minutes until his next escape attempt.

After kicking him like a sandbag, Marc had gotten fed with Sunny's remark from across the cell. The blond had somehow freed himself from the dirty sock stuck in his mouth. In a moment of anger, he cut Sunny's tongue and further horrified Heon beyond belief.

"He's a healer," Marc sneered. "His tongue will grow back in no time."

But it didn't help at all.
