Delicate flower and force of nature

It has been roughly ten years since Siel'Kel died. I have learned a couple of things during that time.

First is that, while the things I can do now are overpowered now, it sure is boring most of the time. I mean I can spy on people as much as I'd like, but I feel a bit bad doing it. Granted, I do use that ability out of boredom, but I do only look at potentially criminal things and act to stop them. Okay I do look at what people I know are doing from time to time and if I know they are about to do something interesting, but I do respect people's privacy.

Second thing I learned is that, while I can see the future to some degree, it is not as good as what Siel'Kel had. It is only a partial thing compared to Siel'Kel, but I do still see the future. I can also influence the future and it is something even Siel'Kel couldn't do. I also have this ability only when I'm close to the great soultree. And like Siel'Kel, I can't see Aktor's future at all for some reason.

Speaking of Aktor, the third thing I learned is that some titles actually hold power in some cases. Not only in a way that people respect those titles, but they actually benefit the holder's abilities and attributes. According to Aktor, I have quite a few titles of power in me. Most of them are me being dragon lord's champion and a dragon hero, but I also hold the title "Second guardian of the great soultree". Aktor said that he also has a couple of titles of power and those that he said were "The all creator" and "Unseen creator". The "Unseen creator" is, according to Aktor, a power that helps him not be observed by the things he had created. And since most of the things in this world are created by him, that applies to most things. He said that Relse has a title called "The all destroyer" and Lex has "All powerful mage". He didn't want to give me too much information about what other titles of power they all had, but he said that I could also figure them out with my current powers.

Fourth thing I learned is that even now that my job is to guard the great soultree, I can move quite freely. I just lose more of the benefits that I have around the tree the more faraway I am from it. I never completely lose the power I share with the great soultree. The reason why I can also move more freely than Siel'Kel is that I have someone who can watch the tree in my absence.

Which brings me to the fifth thing. I noticed that Rin is quite eager to watch the tree when I'm away. It almost feels like she wants me to rely on her now that she is back. While I'm grateful for her usefulness, I can't completely leave the tree in her care alone. After all, I'm the one that Siel'Kel trusted to guard the tree. There is also the point that Rin the creation of Rahasia, so she might act as her creators eyes if her creator demanded it. Though as far as I have heard, Rahasia's network of gathering information has become easier to handle thanks to all the devices we have nowadays. Especially thanks to the internet. But still, I can't just ask Rin this because it might lower her confidence in herself. Though then again, I am her master, so I might have a reasonable expectation to know her stand on this matter. I have thought of this for a long time, but so far, I have left it alone. Still thinking of asking her though.

Sixth thing is that I kind of like being a grandpa. Nina and Henry got married and had a kid named Hana. On top of Hana, I also have some other grandkids from my other kids. Have to say that I'm proud of the kids between Teno and I since they don't feel the same way about incest with their mother. Not all of my kids have kids now, though some have had them for quite some time. I'm also nearing the day to become a great grandfather with two of my grandkids.

There hasn't been any significant news. In other words, it's been relatively peaceful. There are still two things to worry about. One is the anti-magic religion and the other is Delir.

Anti-magic religion has been free to do its forceful anti-magic treatment. Well, I say free, but the countries aren't keen on their movement, so there have been a couple of laws put in place regarding them. Anti-magic religion is now infamous for forcing its beliefs on others and its supporters have lessened. Since anti-magic religion is mostly an idea, there can't be much done to the supporters of it. Nowadays they are more of a nuisance than a problem.

And in terms of Delir, we haven't seen anything that resembles him in our sights. I have used my ability to see the future, so I know that he will strike soon, but I don't know how exactly. We even found the body he was bound to just laying there without any movement. It wasn't dead. It was just in suspended animation.

There also is the curious case of a ring that surrounds the sun. We don't know what it is for or who made it. So far, it's a complete unknown.

Soon I will go to a place where an anti-magic religion is holding a "purification" ritual. What I could see, most of its participants aren't there voluntarily. I will go there to save them.

I call Rin to guard the tree for me for the time being and I'll be off. I head to a building that was rented out by the anti-magic religion in Ahtur. I have called the cops to assist me beforehand, so they are also on their way. I head in, forcefully, and take care of the strugglers. It didn't take much effort, but they pulled a couple of moves that caused me trouble. All in all, there wasn't any harm done to me or the people who were going to be purified. I released the prisoners and waited for the cops. I put the perpetrators to bindings so that they wouldn't move before the cops came.

Then the cops came and took the perpetrators to prison. There also came ambulances along with the cops. I had some words with the cops and the victims.

After all this was done, some random human girl who seemed well off came to me. She grabbed my hand to her arms and started talking to me.

- You sure took care of them, mister Nor.

Aktor starts speaking to Delir.

Aktor throws a prism like object the size of a fist. Delir asks.

- What… What is this?

Then Delir disappears in a blink of an eye. I ask Aktor.

He throws a bottle of something to Rey. She catches it and drinks it without question. Then Aktor went to take care of Nina, who was half naked and passed out. Aktor pulled some bottle from his pocket and broke the tip of it. Then he made Nina sniff it and she regained consciousness. She then quickly looked around her and tried to cover herself. Aktor then said to her.

- It's over. You can rest now.

Aktor then pulled out a set of clothes for Nina to wear. Without a word, me and Aktor looked away as Rey helped Nina to get out of the now tattered clothes and get in the new ones. When she was ready, Nina asked us what happened to Delir. Aktor told her.

- He left and he shouldn't come back if he knows what's best for him.

- You just let him go!? After all that he did to us!?

- There is not much else I can do to him. He is a boundless being with no attachments.

- I… How can I rest easy now? After all that he did to us, he won't receive any punishment. And on top of that, I can't look at my father the same after what he made him do.
