The Snail Bride Restaurant

Lee Rang drank whole night and after he was returning what he called his home he bumped into a strange boy, the exact same boy Hjejin met but unlike Hjejin, Lee Rang find the boy annoying and left him without giving him a backward glance.

                    **The Next days**

Hjejin came to station, greeting everyone good morning she went to her desk where a rose was placed with a note saying sorry on it. Hjejin took the rose and threw it in the dustbin. Making Jong-Suk heart shatter into millions of pieces. Maybe she was being too harsh but Hjejin knew about his feelings for her but she never felt the same about him and because of his feelings for her, Hjejin's mother was taking advantage of poor Jong-Suk and Hjejin couldn't let that happen. For a fact she won't ever forgive him for sending those pictures to her mother.

Around lunch time. Hjejin sat on her desk as she completing a report file she has to complete and submit today and when her Senior came and slammed a paper on her desk and distract her. "You see this, another missing complaint and we didn't solve a single case yet."

Hjejin took the paper and read the details again the victim was a single mother, not well educated and occasionally used to babysit and the woman picture was also attached on it, the woman had short hair and her nails has designing nail extension on them nothing extraordinary. Many women did that nowadays.

"Are these human traffickers?" Haneul asked.

"I don't think so, even it was human trafficking why can't we find the bodies?"  Jong-Suk asked another reasonable question.

Both Haneul and Jong-Suk kept on asking questions to the senior and he had no answers for them after being frustrated by the bickering he yelled. "I need to regain my energy, we'll discuss this after eating lunch. Anyone wanna join?"

"Yes" Both of them said in unison.

Hjejin completed her work and also agreed to go with them. To Jong-Suk dismay she gave him silent treatment through out the way to the restaurant. Hjejin mind was filled with last words of Lee Rang "meet me again and I'll think about it." She has to meet him again because somehow he knew something about the cases.

When they reached the restaurant they looked at it, it was a very sophisticated traditional restaurant named "Snail Bride Restaurant".

They all enter, a waitress came to escort them to their seats when Hjejin passed the reception she heard the receptionist say something about Lee Rang that caught her attention.

The man to which receptionist was talking to has reddish-brown hair and chic look just like Lee Rang.

"Don't worry about him he's still my brother" That man said unconcerned.

He paid the bills and left, Hjejin ran towards the exit and shouted "I'll be back in a minute."

The other three watched her go but didn't say anything because this was not the first time she did that whenever she found something related to the cases she just ran there in no time.

It suddenly started raining the man with red hair opened his red umbrella, what an beautiful umbrella he had, Hjejin thought and ran towards him.

"Excuse me, sir-" He didn't stop. Hjejin tried again. "Hey, man with that red umbrella stop!" The man stopped and turned around and saw a woman drenching in rain.

"Sorry I won't give you the umbrella just because you are woman, I'm all about equality but this is an important umbrella to me." He sarcastically remarked.

Seeing his personality and sarcastic remark Hjejin realised that he was definitely related to Lee Rang somehow or the other.

"Sorry sir but what's your name, Mr. Lee?" She pretended to think his full name when she completely had no idea who he was.

"Lee Yeon, now what. I'm getting late and I'm not giving you the umbrella." He added.

"Are you Lee Rang's brother?"

Lee Yeon sighed. "Yes I'm, now what he did again?"

"Nothing instead he saved a life of a dog."

Lee Yeon stopped her confused why would she tell him that. He nodded and started to walk away.

"Sir, what's your relationship with Ki-Yo-Ri?" Hjejin asked.

"Ki-Yo-Ri" Yeon turned towards her again "I have no relation with her, can I go now?" He said in frustration.

"But aren't you two brother and sister, please answer me?" She requested.

"Yah! Why would she be my sister I had only one brother who is my half brother and I abandoned him, if you know him you must have heard this story from him like a thousand times, now let me go." Lee Yeon shouted in frustration and walked away.

Hjejin stood in rain for like forever and concluded that Lee Rang was indeed an illegitimate brother but the question still remained who's? Lee Yeon or Ki-Yo-Ri?

She already lost her appetite because of the curiosity and started walking randomly, walking always helped her to think more efficiently and find evidences but this time evidence found her.

"Miss, you're soaking in rain, you'll catch cold."

Hjejin didn't look at him and said. "Don't worry about it I'm fine."

Hjejin captured her surrounding to locate where she was and realised that, this was the place where she arrested Ki-Yo-Ri. She looked at that man properly this time he was some kind of doctor wearing white coat and stethoscope, he stood at the door of vet shop, clearly a veterinarian.

"Please at least take an umbrella or wait here untill the rain stops, I can give you some clean towels." The veterinarian said.

Hjejin nodded and he politely asked her to come inside. Without wasting any time she asked "Do you know Ki-Yo-Ri?"

The veterinarian turned slightly pink.

"Yeah I know, this is her dog." She pointed at the dog who was sleeping in the corner. "She saved him. Well my name Goo Shin-Joo you never asked but I have to tell."

"Well Mr. Goo, can you tell me what relation she has with Lee Rang?"

From blushing pink he turned into angry red but a man like Shin-Joo couldn't really be mad at anyone. Sighing his anger out he said "he is her savior." He covered his mouth with his hands quickly. He shouldn't have said those things now he was in big trouble. Hjejin realised his panic and ran out of his clinic as fast as she could. Something very dangerous and suspicious was hiding between these people and she had to find what.
