Ryu and Lynx glare at Aiko who is late she had to take a 2 hours long train to get here since they didn't give her much of a choice when it came to their crazy idea to break into Kaminari's office building.

"Did you find the structural engineer?" Ryu asks the out of breath Aiko heavy breathing and panting she can only manage a single nod from the way her heads racing.

"Will you two hurry up." Lynx whisper shouts opening the door walking ahead of the two females.

"By the way we'll find the structural engineer at the Sapporo Central Cemetery."

Ryu turns to face the now relaxed Aiko who's stretching and following Lynx inside, "He's dead?"

Ryu huffs when Aiko nods in response, "Dammit, witching the plans out of the guy would've been easier than finding the blue prints."

Aiko looks around the large building the reception area is large enough to be a dance hall, what more of the entire building?

"I hated the bastard, but he sure as hell knew the secrets to getting rich."

Ryu notices Aiko's sad expression when she looks around the place she wonders what the girl is thinking and if she has good memories or bad, "What was your relationship with Kaminari? I thought you wanted him dead."

Aiko walks into the elevator and chuckles, "I sure as hell did, but it doesn't change the fact that he was like a father to me at times.

"I had nothing and he gave me a chance, it's just that he had a tendency to screw things up, he was a self sabotaging man who couldn't help but ruining everything for himself he drove me crazy and I hated him eventually.

"It wasn't like that at first. I guess I was dumb enough to think he could be saved."

Ryu watches the top of the elevator door as they move a floor up. Lynx chose to take the stairs, "I can't relate, my parents were the golden couple and I was the perfect daughter got good grades, everyone liked me, and I was the one my parents counted on to take care of the family.

"Yuno on the other hand was the middle child, didn't care about grades, didn't care about school, she didn't care what my parents thought I lowkey used to envy her she wasn't putting up appearances like I was.

"She honestly shocked me the way she changed when our parents died and took care of everyone including me while I saw an opportunity to run wild and finally get to do things I never did before.

"I stayed out late, partied like it was my last day on earth and next thing I know I fucked my life up and I don't even remember where I took a wrong turn, or how I got here.

"I just wish I knew better or never messed up all the opportunities given to me but all I've got now is to keep moving forward.

"I honestly had great parents who were supportive my fall out has nothing to do with the way I was raised because they did an amazing job if they were still alive you and I wouldn't even know each other I'd be a famous something by now.

"Don't ask what I would be because I don't know, but I would be something."

Aiko snorts walking around the empty office with her hands in her pockets, "My family was chaotic and toxic.

"My father was abusive my mother was a prescription drug junkie and I only managed to stay in line because of my grandmother who took me in making it her life's mission to raise me right.

"I can't say she failed but I won't say she passed either I just want a life where I don't have to scrape by anymore."

"I hear you."

They find Lynx drawing symbols on the floor chanting he turns and throws a thumbs up, "I will be drawing power from this circle on the day of the attack, now we can go visit your Bino friend and ask him to help us find someone with an ability that will give us the blueprints of this building."

They get in the car and wait for him to come home following him inside the house.

Bino looks surprised to see Ryu back here he takes a step back and Lynx uses a paralysis spell on him.

"We just want to talk Bino."

Aiko slowly walks towards him and he takes a step back again, "I think that's not the real Splitter he moved and he isn't supposed to be moving."

Ryu sighs making herself comfortable on his couch, "Quit witching everyone you come across Lynx let's relax and wait for the real Bino to get here, he has to come home eventually."

She casually flips a page of the magazine she found on the little table in front of the couch.

They all sit in front of the TV watching the news there's an announcement about the regulation of abilities by Kazue Negai President of the Public Safety Bureau.

"All citizens will be required to wear the Colour bands at all times when out in public whether you have an ability or not, you will not be able to enter certain areas without a band since it will be the only way to open and close a door.

"Due to privacy issues many of you are not happy about this but you will see how this will benefit everyone in the long run. Anyone found without a Colour band will be tagged by a drone and taken into custody by the police.

"So everyone who does not have a band please note that by the end of the week we will have the Registration drones close by for easy access, please be aware of scammers you do not have to pay any amount for a band it's free and doesn't take longer than 5 minutes to get one.

"This is compulsory for individuals 21 and older if you're younger you don't have to rush to get one, but I'd suggest getting one when you're 18."

"This could be a problem for some of us I'm supposed to be dead." Ryu and Lynx turn to Aiko.

"I guess she's our official errand girl." Lynx states.

Ryu nods, "Unfortunately."

Aiko throws a pillow at Ryu who just laughs at the angry expression on her face.

"Think Izumi can get one? He could be our ticket to getting close to Tachibana via Yuno." Ryu asks hoping for a yes before she jumps up pacing up and down, "We've lost our parents so Yuno will definitely not turn away another Lin, but what about security checks and Identification?"

"Can't Bino help out with that? Where is the guy anyway?"

"Probably working over time at the ARC some people will go directly to the centre rather than the drones and use the drones for one of those days they forgot their band at home."

The door knob turns and Bino walks in to find his house invaded his clone sent him a text since he sent it ahead of him to check the coast.

"Can you make it a habit to call first before just popping up." He locks the door walking to his room flopping on the bed falling asleep.

After waiting a whole hour for Bino to come back everyone realises he's not coming back down and start looking around the house for any work-related files, but all they find is paper work related to auto paints and auto repairs.

Aiko heaves flopping on the couch, "I think this is the part where the witch magics us his laptop password."

Lynx groans, "He didn't come with one I think we need someone else to help us with our dirty work someone more willing he's not being as cooperative as we need."

Ryu shrugs her shoulders when they turn to her for a replacement, "If that's what you're deciding let's just leave wasting time isn't in the agenda we all still have something to do, like Aiko inviting the 5 sacrifices to a fake business meeting that's in 3 months.

"Lynx taking over for me to find a spell that will save Tensho and I have to help kill the Empress and I have no idea how we're going to outsmart the chick." She walks towards the door leaving.

They spent all day doing nothing expecting to return with good news, but all they did was just chill and watch TV at Bino's place.

Izumi raises a brow when the three musketeers as he calls them walk in looking depressed, "Who's up for killing Ken Tachibana to relieve a little stress?"

All three laugh in his face.

"If you're serious I'm game." Aiko comments.

Ryu and Lynx decline

"We have a spell to look for and time isn't on our side, good luck though."

Aiko follows Izumi to Tachibana's childhood home where Hitoshi has his son trapped, "I hope you understand Ken I really do."

Tachibana groans unable to stay conscious the sedative is working faster than he thought and burning it out of his body isn't working.

Hitoshi sits down wanting to relish in his immortality one last time recalling when he met Princess Senitsu either wise known as the Empress.

It was a cold night and Hitoshi woke up in the middle of nowhere after being left for dead by a group of his friends.

"I made it in time had I been a second too late you'd be dead." She gave him a warm smile offering him water.

"You nearly died and I saved your life but at the expanse of your humanity I'm not sure what you are yet, but with time you'll figure it out and you can thank me later because now you can never die."

Hitoshi didn't understand what she meant until he got shot and woke up a few minutes later like nothing happened.

He loved being immortal at the time he messed with the wrong people moved from city to city and faked his death to get out of any drama he got himself into until he met the woman who changed his life and they had children together, but there was one problem she was growing old and eventually would die.

He turned to Senitsu once more for help and she offered him 4 rings, "These are called Lux rings made by Luxars as you can see they match.

"One you will wear and the other will go to your beloved and she will share your immortality without forsaking her humanity it will only work on the one who wears the matching set don't think you can Criss cross them and it will work it won't.

"There's one rule you have to truly love the one you give this too a simple crush won't do the trick."

Years passed and he was happy with her but life started getting boring and waking up after dying just pissed him off it turned him bitter he just wanted to grow old and be alive.

He was just existing and he did not want that anymore hence his current predicament was born and now he finally gets to kill his son and turn mortal.

"You actually waited for us before killing him, I'm surprised I'd never take the risk." Aiko walks in and stands next Izumi watching as Hitoshi rips Ken's heart out.

"Did you have to make it so quick and painless? I came to watch him suffer a little."

"I hope you're happy with your decision Toshi."

Everyone turns around and Hitoshi locks eyes with Maria pushing in a coffin with Xavier's body in it.

Hiroshi stares in disbelief, "How? He hasn't aged a day nor has he decomposed or anything he should be bones covered in dirt right now."

Maria shakes her head and takes off her ring since it's no longer necessary, "I asked Senitsu for a favour before she cast the spell.

"I didn't want you living with the guilt of killing your own son and grandchild and I didn't sign up to be immortal just so I can be a widow forever so I asked her to figure out a way to save them and she did.

"When you become mortal your immortality will be transferred to them and instead of them being sacrificial lambs they just become receivers they will wake up in a few days, when they do the transfer will be complete."

"Why didn't you tell me? All this cat and mouse could've been avoided."

"I wanted to live a little first I wasn't ready to die unlike you I was just starting to enjoy my immortality so I sat back and watched, this is more fun any way seeing the look in your eyes."

She makes herself some tea here to wait for the both of them to wake up.
