'This can't be good'

Yuno scrubs the bathroom spotless before going back to babysitting.

The children are all taking power naps except for Tori who is wide awake and staring at Yuno.

Her heart flutters watching the baby boy navigate his surroundings.

She picks him up and gives him a night time bath playing with him but part of her is very sceptic about Mr Tachibana's intentions for her ability.

Tachibana makes a call to his personal assistant who's on vacation, "I hate to cut your little holiday short but we've got work to do. Schedule a meeting with Mr Roman for next Monday we need to finalise the business deal I've got in mind.

"The construction company has not been doing so well I need you to investigate where the problem is in that department, also I need you to continue the search for Setsuno Suzuki."

The male on the other end of the line sighs and pauses for a moment. He never stopped working even when he was on vacation all he has to do is send an email to Tachibana and his vacation might resume.

Now that he needs to go back to work he's suddenly feeling the need to go on vacation.

"I'll have the time and place posted on your wall in an hour. Setsuno Suzuki is very good at covering his tracks.

"I have already contacted him about your insatiable need for him, so I'll get back to him immediately and arrange for him to be brought into your office by tomorrow.

"Regarding the construction, it seems funds are being misappropriated and only half of the money was used to repair the roads instead of the full amount.

"Having said that, this little project will not be a permanent contract and people will be jobless all over again."

Tachibana weighs his options clearly. Some of the people are dependent on this construction project to feed their families if he had known sooner that he trusted another money hungry dog he would've sorted the mess out earlier.

"Alright, I'll handle the rest from here have Setsuno in my office ASAP."

The ball is finally over and the annoying pests that have infected his Palace are leaving. Tachibana could not be any happier.

Yuno waves goodbye to the children that had a sleep over in her room grateful to finally have a chance to get some shut eye. She barely slept with the kids waking up one by one in the middle of the night.

"I think I'm starting to share your enthusiasm for toddlers. Next time you need a babysitter break every bone in your body searching for Sensen before you decide to bring them to me."

Yuno surprises Tachibana who stands in place utter shock expressed on his face as Yuno stomps off leaving him with an amused expression after a short while.

He'll blame her mood on her sleep deprivation and let her rest she still needs to work on Mr Ryujin again who is also another man who would leave hundreds of people jobless if he kicked the bucket right now.

Yuno wakes up and takes a long bath before walking down the stairs ready for work. Kai is still here and sharing yoghurt with Tori.

"Miss Lin …"

Yuno grows bold and raises a finger at Tachibana so he's quiet and she can speak her mind freely without interruption. If he's about to ask for another favour he has another thing coming because today she is not in the mood for extra work.

"I know you're the boss and I need this job, but don't push your luck sir. I will not be baby sitting a bunch of random toddlers from now on I'll stay in my own lane and leave the children to dear old Sensen."

Tachibana stares back at her with an amused expression, "I was going to say I'm giving you a week off so you can focus on your business with Mr Ryujin freely, but if you don't want it I can always give it to Hitori since he deserves one for working so hard yesterday."

Yuno smiles like there's no tomorrow. A day off sounds nice.

She gags just thinking about the germs and dirt in her room. She will not be using her room for today's session with the old man, it's bad enough she can't unsee the horrors he put her through.

Tachibana chuckles and walks past Tori whose eyes follow his every move.

Kai cocks a brow when Tori cries for Mr Tachibana not only is it out of character it is hard to process.

Tachibana glares at the baby and Tori stops crying and chuckles, he takes a step and Tori starts crying, "Listen you brat I hate kids and you're part of that list, so quit acting weird you'll give people the wrong impression about me."

Tori babbles back and cries in the end while Tachibana has his fingers crossed he falls and hits his head going to sleep immediately but instead Tori crawls towards him and sits at his feet.

Tori looks up only to fall back from leaning too far back because of Tachibana's height as well as him sitting too close.

When he doesn't cry Tachibana picks him up and walks to his office. The only thing he hates about babies is crying, and since he looks like the type that doesn't cry he'll diffuse the situation by letting him sit in his office.

Tachibana places the baby on his desk and sits down in front of him. Yuno said they're not stupid and he should talk to him so that's exactly what he's going to do, he's setting ground rules so Tori knows his place.

Yuno gets done with the cleaning and takes the laundry out of the washing machine walking past the garden.

Kai is generating water from his hands watering his favourite roses.

"Kai, what the hell are you doing?" She whisper shouts and he turns around and cocks a brow.

"I'm watering the plants, what are you doing?" He doesn't understand why she insists on him hiding his ability all of his friends don't hide theirs, and besides it's considered cool or lucky to have one.

"You're going to get fired just loafing around like that." He points an accusatory finger at his sister only for Yuno to ignore him and decide to enjoy her Tori free time.

She never realised how much she could get done when she doesn't have to take breaks and check on Tori every now and then.

Tachibana watches Kai water the plants and turns back to the sleeping Tori curious if he will be a water type like the rest of the Lin family. He himself is a fire type Super with the ability to generate Lava from any part of his body.

He can sort of understand Yuno's scepticism to show her ability those with the more powerful types are forced to hide their abilities because they will be under constant watch and some of their freedom will be restricted.

They won't be able to travel to certain places and won't be allowed in certain parts of the country because there are still some people who fear those with gifts.

He grew up having to hide who he is as well, back in his youth people like him were rare and considered dangerous. His ability was terrifying in name alone being caught using it would've had him mobbed or worse.

He's glad to see that there's a bit of improvement in the way people with special gifts are being treated but he still plans to get rid of the crazy restrictions imposed upon people until there is total freedom for all and no segregation.

He's seen what that can do and he doesn't plan to let that happen ever again. If they keep treating Supers like villains that's exactly what they will become.

Tachibana feels a light breeze coming from behind him. He turns around and his door is still closed so he doesn't understand where it's coming from.

Tori's sudden crying fills the room.

Tachibana walks towards the baby and he's covered in ice, "This can't be good." He mutters under his breath looking out the window to see where Yuno went but he remembers she's working with Ryujin at the moment.

Yuno helps Mr Ryujin out of the kiddy pool, "I think tomorrow will be the last day, but that's assuming your legs weren't so messed up you needed a wheel chair and magically managed to evade that too."

Yuno focussed on his internal organs and immune system today. One of his kidneys had stopped working and it took a while to repair and get it working again.

The water smells worse than it did yesterday and Yuno cannot bother with politeness. She openly complains to Mr Ryujin and scolds him in between heaving and occasional gagging.

"Thank you Miss Lin it's very kind of you to help an old man like myself."

"Think nothing of it Sir, I'll see you again tomorrow 4 PM."

She calls Kai to toss out the water while she goes to take a long bath and a nap. She wakes up in the middle of the night worried about Tori, but goes back to sleep assuming he's with Sensen and all is well with her life.
