Shortcut?

When Wang Lu felt her silence, he couldn't help but want to scold her.

But her silence just went on for too long, as such he opened the curtain and could see that some darkness was starting to engulf them.

"What the hell? Have we gone the wrong way?" He asked, but the cold look in Yue Li's eyes made him shut up.

"We have encountered some problem! Make sure to stay in the carriage!" She warned sternly.

He could see wisps of red smoke gathering from her body. It gathered real fast and soon it turned into a majestic python, only the scales on its back seemed lacking.

But the python had become very corporeal and one wouldn't think it formed from the red whisps of gas that came from her body.

But even so, the more he looked at the python, the stronger the oppression he felt. The dragon was circling around Yue Li, making her seem majestic.

"Is this a grandmaster?" He was shocked as for why this was, he felt the aura between heaven and earth retreat the moment the python appeared.

The thoughts in his mind started to rush, "Interesting! Detached from external! Is this what the nameless Scripture is also lacking for me to go further!" The more he thought about this, the stronger the urge to practice the technique become, but he pushed it to the side.

He was currently in a dangerous situation and praticing was the least of his concerns.

But even so, he didn't stop himself from picking up a carrot and biting into it.

The sound was all that could be heard from outside the carriage.

Even though the strangeness in the sky and around him had intensified, Wang Lu found that his mind was in a tranquil state as he ate the carrots.

He then opened the curtain watching the massive red dragon covering Yue Li roar into the sky. She was holding onto two short swords, and they looked like daggers.

When he saw this, Wang Lu had a strange expression as he murmured, "The Wang clan has all kinds of strange weapons, but I have never seen this one! Did this come from grandma's clan?"

But he didn't have much time to think about this, as dark miasma seemed to be rising from the ground. It was only stopped when it reached the carriage.

He seemed to understand why Yue Li wanted him not to leave the carriage. She continued to move the carriage forward, and the red python cooling around her seemed very effective against the darkness and miasma. It instantly melted upon contact with it.

"Yue Li! Aren't we still in this Wang clan?" When the woman outside the carriage heard this words, she couldn't help but want to curse.

"This is not an abnormal Situation in the Central region of the clan! Compared to the cities that are located in the borders, I have to say the Central region is the most dangerous. He was incapable of getting more information,as Yue Li didn't say anything anymore.

But she didn't forget to tell him to stay in the carriage. He opened the curtain on the carriage window and could see nothing but darkness.

He asked, "How come I didn't meet this kind of situation on my journey to my grandparents house?" He could tell she was able to talk freely, so he just had to ask.

He recieved a reply immediately.

"This is the fastest shortcut to the gathering place! Do you think you are going back to the training camp? The place we are going is the main hub of the Wang clan connecting to almost all cities. But it is also where your combat power is going to be tested. Only after ones combat power is tested do they have the priority to choosing the city they want to head to." Hearing what she had just said, he seemed to remember part of what Mei Lin said to him.

At the time he didn't take it as much seriously, but now that he thought about it, it was about the Zhen City.

Zhen City was where his parents where located. So as long as his performance was good, he should be able to choose this place. He didn't know what Wang Xingyue and Wang Shi Yi would chose. But he had to meet them first before even thinking about this.

He hadn't seen them in a long time, but once he reached the destination, perhaps he would have different thoughts.

After a day, the carriage finally left the darkness. He didn't even see how the carriage left, as he only saw brightness before he realized he had left that depressing place.

Opening the carriage curtains, he discovered that they had walked right between to massive pillars.

Looking around, such pillars seemed common and from time to time, a carriage could be seen.

Wang Lu could see that this place was flooded with those of his age. Each possessing a unique demeanor.

What was even shocking was that the number was so large, he suspected it reached thousands.

He remembered something that he heard before coming to this place.

"In thousands of people less than fifty actually managed to enter the Master realm every decade in the Wang clan!" He was thinking to himself with a serious expension.

This information had been more like a shock. But then again, having about fifty masters in this Wang clan every decade was not a small number at all.

But the army of thousands of Human generals isn't to be looked down on.

Only at this point, did he seem to realize something. "Perhaps those that didn't manage to breakthrough to master realm in a decade will be assigned some roles in the cities controlled by the Wang clan. Other than that, they can also start their families and give birth to more descendants for the clan.
