7. Takemikazuchi Familia

Along the way. Takemikazuchi kept looking at the emotionless face of Karma. He couldn't but wonder what secrets this boy holds. Karma who felt Takemikazuchi's gaze felt very uncomfortable. He would have thought Takemikazuchi was gay if he didn't know any better.

When they arrived at the the townhouse, Takemikazuchi looked at Karma's face to see if there was any change in his reaction. When he saw that nothing had changed, he inwardly sighed in relief, which confused even himself.

As they were walking around the residence, Karma couldn't help but notice how nobody was around. He figured they were probably in the dungeon or something.

Takemikazuchi brought Karma to the living room and set out tea for the both of them. Karma didn't reject the gesture and quietly sipped the tea. He was enjoying the tea when suddenly Takemikazuchi coughed out loud in order to grab his attention.

"Would you like me to grant you falna now?"

"Only after you take your vow."

Takemikazuchi had almost forgotten about that as he sighed and looked straight into Karma's eyes. "I, Takemikazuchi, hereby vow to never reveal Karma's skills unless it is deemed absolutely necessary."

Karma had the tiniest hint of a smile on his face as he began to take of the top of his kimono.

Takemikazuchi being a Sword God was impressed by Karma's build, but even more so by scars on his body. He could tell that Karma had trained a great deal to achieve such a form. If only he know it was only three and a half years.

Takemikazuchi took out a small sharp knife and sliced his finger. He let a drip of blood fall onto Karma's back and watched as his emblem formed on Karma's back. He then picked up the paper and couldn't help but gawk as he read Karma's status.

Takemikazuchi had never even heard of the skills that Karma had, and now it made sense why Karma made him take a vow to not talk about his skills.

"What skills even are these?"

"I only know that my eyes sometimes change. Is there something else there?" Asked Karma in mock curiosity since he technically would have no way of viewing his status.

Takemikazuchi had forgotten about this and handed the paper to Karma. Karma just scanned over his status and handed it back to Takemikazuchi.

"Can I see what you mean by your eyes changing?"

"Sure." answered Karma before his right eye suddenly lit on fire. Takemikazuchi was more than shocked when he saw a fire emitting from Karma's eye, but he didn't feel any heat coming from it. He was about to reach out for it when Karma suddenly canceled the flame. Although he wanted to ask why, he started to hear the voices of his Familia members.

"Well thank you for this Takemikazuchi sama, but it seems like I have to leave now."

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to the Guild to register as an adventure, I'll probably move in within a week so don't worry about me for now. Anyways goodbye." said Karma as he walked out the room.

Takemikazuchi's Familia had obviously seen Karma walk past them and immediately asked their god.

"Who was that Takemikazuchi sama?" asked Ouka.

"That there was a new member of our Familia. His name is Karma."

The rest of his Familia was confused about why their god would suddenly take in another child.

"Why did you accept him Takemikazuchi sama?"

"Well you see, he made an interesting proposition. I also think he's an excellent swordsman."

"Why do you say that?"

"Did you forget who I am? Of course I could tell. I'm sure you will see for yourselves anyway."

"Yes Takemikazuchi sama." said Mikoto since she had another swordman who she could train with

Karma was walking to the guild with a small smile on his face that would have surprised those who knew him. He was excited about finally being able to enter the dungeon. He was immediately greeted by an energetic lady guy who he recognized as Misha.

"Welcome to the Guild"
