14. Walk

Karma woke up the next day feeling extremely exhausted. He groaned as he got of the bed and looked for a mirror. He wanted to see the changes that occur whenever he activated Byakugan. Unfortunately he couldn't find one in his room and decided to greet his Familia while he looked for one .

He exited his room and didn't hear anyone, which he found weird, but decided to ignore it. While he was walking down the hallway he finally found a bathroom. 'When was the last time I took a bath?' thought Karma as he walked into the room to find a mirror.

When he walked in he was met with the sight of Mikoto getting ready to take a bath or so he assumes, since she was taking off her clothes. Karma and Mikoto locked eyes for a few seconds before he turned around, closed the door behind him and proceed to walked away. He didn't want to some clichéd harem protagonist scene to happen. He didn't even notice the little blush on his face.

Karma was now walking around town try. He decided to explore Orario for a while and see if there was anything interesting he could find. While walking he came across clothing shops and remembered that he had to get new armor so he changed his direction. He ended up at the Hephaestus Familia North West Shop and got some light leather armor for himself (Linwe's Armor set without the hood and smaller shoulder pads, something like it anyways). Only now did Karma realize how much money being an adventurer required, but at least he didn't have to buy a weapon since those cost way more in the long run. He still had some time before it got dark and decided to buy some Jagamarukun with Azuki Cream flavor for his Familia.

Karma was entering the Familia building and as usual was first meet by Takemikazuchi. "Hey Karma, What's do you have there?"

"Oh, I bought some armor and here is some Jagamarukun for everyone. I'm going back to my room. I might not be up until tomorrow afternoon just to let you know."

"Wait, don't you wanna update your status first?"

"Sure I guess." said Karma as he started taking of his top and kneeled on the floor.

Takemikazuchi then proceeded to drop a bit of blood onto his back and what he saw shocked him more than before.

"I mean, you status wouldn't increase this rapidly unless you did something drastic."

"Well you see, I kind of went on a rampage in the dungeon."

"How'd that even happen?"

"I think it has something to do with my [Battle Maniac] skill."

"Well I understand how battle freaks are since I've met a few, but how'd you gain two new skills, especially this one, [(Vampire's?) Charm]?"

" I don't know, I've never heard of the skill before."

"Me too, I'll ask at the next Denatus, that is if it's okay with you?"

'Hmm, the next is about Denatus is about two months away. I should be able to level up before then.'

"Sure, so long as you don't tell them all of my skills."

"Of course not, we had a deal anyways."

"Oh yeah about that..." said Karma as he proceeded to drop 10000 Valis onto the table.

"This is a part of my deal, wasn't it."

"No, no. I can't take all your money."

'This is why I don't like humble people.' "That's not all my money, besides just thinks of it as my rent while I am here."

"Fine then, but you should at least join us for dinner more."

"Alright, by the way is there only one bathroom?"

"No, the male one is past your bedroom, why?"

"No reason at all, see you tomorrow." Karma was about to leave when his Familia walked in. It was only after he saw a blush on the girls' faces before he realized he was still topless. He quickly put on his shirt before facing them with a 'smile'. "Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Karma."
