After finally losing some more of his patience, Jasper, the Sword Saint, decided to just ask the young child in front of him about his surroundings.
<Miss, can you tell me about this place then?>
Chen Mei Ling muttered something out loud to herself, seemingly deep in thought.
"Is he seriously just going to ignore me?"
<Umm...we're currently in a small village 30 miles outside of A City.>
<A City?>
<Yup! The biggest city located in Province C.
It is known as the city of dreams, where people from all walks of life gather, trying to make a name for themselves!>
Chen Mei Ling talked with such fervor in her tone and had eyes gleaming brightly with a certain spark.
She had totally ignored the Sword Saint sitting on the bed in deep contemplation.
[Is this perhaps some faraway land unknown to those of the five continents?
It seems quite useless to ask the girl anything more.
I never thought I would have to use this again after gaining sainthood...]
Jasper elegantly drew a few mysterious symbols in the air with his index finger.
As the last stroke was drawn, the symbol started to slowly gather mana from its surroundings.
His eyebrows furrowed slightly.
[The gathering of mana is a lot slower than usual.
I did not notice earlier as I had only been utilizing mana from my magic pool.]
He closed his eyes and tried to feel the mana around him.
As he had expected, the mana was really too little compared to any place in Trinix.
As one of the world's strongest beings, he has had many journeys around the world and there really is hardly ever anything he does not know or has not heard of.
The symbol suddenly started to glow a dark green light, withdrawing him from his thoughts.
As he captured the information given to him by the magic symbol, he stood up from the bed in shock, before tumbling back down once again due to his injuries.
Chen Mei Ling, also waking up from her surprise, ran up trying to support him, as he kept saying something foreign to her while in utter disbelief.
"Impossible"
"Impossible"
"No, this can't be"
"I'm no longer in Trinix?"
"I must have made a mistake while drawing the magic circle. It truly has been a long time since I last used it..."
He once again tried to call up the Trinix world map.
This magic symbol allows the caster to view their current location on the world map of Trinix, based on the frequencies it sends and receives from the magic towers in every corner of the world.
These magic towers have been there since the creation of the world, and encompassed every known and unknown part of Trinix.
The map is usually used by non-saints to cast teleportation magic, as it needed both the current location of the caster, as well as the destination point.
Jasper had stopped using this magic after learning the instant transfer gate skill when he hit sainthood years ago.
The new magic had allowed him to ignore his locations.
As its name suggests, instant transfer gate allows him to instantly teleport to any place he has been to before, allowing him to no longer have the need to know his location before casting any sort of teleportation magic.
The Trinix world map magic symbol once again gathered enough mana from the trifling amount remaining of the already insignificant volume in the small room.
It once again showed an error message, the failure to connect to any magic tower.
That can only mean one thing.
He was not in the world of Trinix anymore.
I'll try to write a few chapters to add to my nonexistent stockpile tonight, and hopefully schedule some releases tomorrow, as I will be busy all day~
I tried to write a part of this chapter on mobile, but failed to find any creative sense in me with that tiny screen and minimized windows view....
