Sword Arts Online: Darkness

What if the creator of Sword Arts Online had controlled Kirito and his friends, turning them into evil, and brought the game into the real world, turning it into a giant game world? Well, this is the situation where our ordinary protagonist Roxas Nietes, or Rohasu Nitama as his player name, had found himself. Being a foreign high school student living in Japan with his friends in a shared house owned by his school would make his life there difficult, but his intelligence on basically anything instead made him prepared and an actionist. He was an ambivert who loved music, art, writing, picture taking, philosophizing, and best of all, making scenarios of all kinds in his mind. So, the day before SAO was brought into the real world, Roxas had unknowingly received a mysterious-looking email from a player named Anko Tachibana, who was a deceased player. That email is a request for help because he, who knew Kirito and his friends before, wants someone to help them, who are now known as the Elite Players, snap from their state of being brainwashed by the game. Roxas accepted it after some thinking, but there’s one condition: he will be Anko’s vessel because Anko is now a spirit after his death in the game. To be free from Anko’s ghostly possession, he needed to complete the task in any way he could. Now that he was Anko’s vessel, what would Roxas do to do this big and seemingly impossible mission? Well, he will use his intelligence, ambivert personality, and scenario-making mindset to do it, plus action. That combination sounds ridiculous and unorthodox, but for him, it will be a good one. So, join him, Anko, and their friends in a now-altered reality fighting monsters and bosses across Aincrad-ridded Japan and getting into the Tower while trying to get Kirito and his friends out of their brainwashed state. But the dark side of Sword Art Online was slowly revealed as Roxas and his friends went deeper and deeper for their mission through their spirit guardians. One of them was the origins of Eugeo and Alice (This was what if Eugeo and Alice were once humans who were killed and were forced to be bots in the games?) Chapter 28 – Anko’s Sword

Third person POV

And then, Evil Kirito teleported into the scene, greeting Evil Asuna. "Hello there, Asuna." Roxas and Evil Asuna heard that and looked at him.

"Oh, hi there, Kirito-kun," Evil Asuna replied back brightly.

Roxas was shocked, and Anko within said to him, "Dude, that's Asuna Yuuki. She is Kirito-kun's friend and partner in the game."

Roxas got that and quickly and quietly took notes in his native language in his handy notepad.

Writing notes in his native language Tagalog and other foreign languages he knew is one of his tactics.

"What are you doing here?" Evil Kirito asked Evil Asuna.

"Oh, I'm just talking to this kid," answered Evil Asuna back, before looking at Roxas.

Evil Kirito then looked at Roxas and was amazed to see such a unique and amazing shirt and necktie Roxas got. "Impressive, where did you get that shirt?"

"Oh, um…" Roxas responded shortly after he had taken notes, "…I got this from an annual event that was only taken place today. Today is Philippine Independence Day, so I was offered this shirt for free, and I said yes and accepted it."

"Heh, nice one, newbie," Evil Kirito replied back with a little smirk.

Roxas chuckled nervously as Anko said to him inside of him, "Dude, act naturally and don't do anything that might offend them."

Roxas got that fast.

After that, Evil Kirito and Evil Asuna had a chat with each other in Japanese. Although he had studied Japanese for a long time before moving here in Japan, Roxas had some trouble understanding some of the vocabulary the two Elite Players are using in their conversation now. Putting that aside for now, Roxas began to think of a tactic to use on them for the purpose of making a scene in a good way. But then, Anko came out and used his spirit power to summon something.

That thing was his sword in the game, and he had decided to give and pass that to him.

All this time, Anko had forgotten to give that thing to Roxas for complicated reasons.

"Here you go, Roxas-kun," Anko said to Roxas. "Sorry for forgetting this. This is my sword in this game. I want you to have this."

Roxas was stunned but thinks that it would be awesome to have two swords in his inventory.

So, the young foreign student accepted it and wielded it high in excitement and positive enthusiasm. "Yay! Second sword para me!"

One word in his line is from Spanish as a tactic in the mix.

Evil Kirito and Evil Asuna heard that and looked at him, only to see him with another sword that they had never seen before.

Roxas wasn't scared of them at this point and put his newly, inherited sword down.

"Is that a new sword of yours?" Evil Asuna asked him.

"Yes," Roxas replied back with a Spanish-like accent. "Someone else give it to me."

And then, Anko turned off his ghostly invisibility ability and appeared before the two Elite Players.

"Hello!" he greeted them happily like a happy child.

Roxas was positively confident about Anko's appearance in front of Evil Kirito and Evil Asuna, who were very stunned to see Anko appearing out of nowhere.
