I pulled the ball back in between my legs and watched my defender fall. The pink haired point guard, Akashi Seijuro, the man who broke ankles now sat in front of me with his ankles broken. I got into the shooting motion, bringing the ball up from my waist. Cameras flashed around around me, the crowd screaming and cheering. Wait for me Kuroko no Basket, I'm coming for you. Basketball. The greatest sport ever created. I dominated in middle school at the highest level. I put my back and heart into every practice and game and played my heart out on the court. I grinded like hell and got the recognition I deserved. I was going to enter high school when a major accident happened. Well I died. And guess what. I reincarnated into an anime world! Its just like how I imagined, everybody has some sort of special ability. Although there are no insane superpowers like that of my hero academia or one punch man. Well, It wouldn't really have basketball if those powers existed. This is more of an anime school world. Quite a few school animes exist in this world. This includes the greatest sports anime ever created, Kuroko no Basket. Now with my basketball system watch me take over this world. I shed my blood, sweat and tears and leave it all on the court. I am Nakamura kaen and this is my basketball journey.

Chapter 1I died?

Hey, where am I. I try to think. So I was going to the court to play some basketball, how on earth did I end up here?

I think harder.

I remember crossing the road, texting my friend at the same time. Oh yeah, a pair of bright lights shined onto me, then darkness.

I was stunned, it didn't take an idiot to figure out what had happened. So, I assume I just died? Wow, this feels unreal.

So whats going to happen to me now? Am I just going to stay here in this nothingness forever, floating around without a body till the end of time?God dammit! What kind of crap is this, this is not what they promised in those isekai mangas.

I wonder what my parents and my sister are doing. They are probably at the cemetery now. Why did I do this to them man. They were some of the best things I ever had, couldn't have asked for a better family. My parents treated me well, although they were sometimes a little harsh on me, I knew it was for my own good. As for my sister, I know she loves me and deep down I know I really love her too.

I really miss them.They are my family, I would do anything to see them again. I hope they live a good life without me and I hope my death death won't affect them too badly. I felt a emptiness inside me, I knew I would never be able to see the most important people in my life ever again. I felt so empty, in this empty darkness where I was floating in.

I wish i could cry but I don't even have a body.

I look back to the short few years which I lived.

There were so many things I had planned to accomplish in life. I was going to join my high school basketball team and live the dream. I wanted to dominate on the court like it did in middle school.I still remember my stat line, 25.9 points 8.7 rebounds and 9 assist a game. I averaged that for a whole season!

I wanted to chill with my teammates. I wanted to do the daily grind, with my teammates around me, aiming for the national title.

Man, I can never play basketball again. I remember the addictive feel of the ball in my hands, the sound of the net when it swishes, the satisfaction of hitting a tough shot over your defender. Sigh*

Throughout my life there were many things I liked. They constantly changed, except Basketball. It stuck with me throughout my life and I never got bored of it.

Goddammit! Goddammit! Goddammit! If only I payed more attention to the road. Goddammit.

"You know, you don't have to keep insulting my name."

Who was that? I there was nothing but nothingness around me, how could I have heard a voice?

"Relax, I'm right here, you don't have to get so anxious." A wave of light shone over me and in front of me stood a figure that I knew very clearly.

Stephen curry? Wow he's even chewing his mouth piece here.

What is he doing here, don't tell me he's dead too. He should be dominating in golden state right now, maybe having another 2016 MVP season. It was going to be his first year without Kevin Durant, I really wanted to see what he would be like.

"I'm not who you think I am, I'm god obviously. Whoever you see is the person you admired and respected the most in your past life. And stop trying to speak, you don't have a body here so you won't make a sound. It's alright, I am god, I can read your thoughts. "

Well that made sense to me, the greatest shooter of all time obviously deserves mu respect. Wait, did he say past life, will I have a future life? Am I going to be reincarnated?

I guess I was pretty smart, I never really studied for most tests and still did pretty well. I spent most of my time playing basketball and watching anime anyway, why would I waste my time studying. Especially math and physics, those 2 subjects were pretty much common sense. I never really figured out why people struggle so much for it.

" Okay, that"s enough small talk. Now you should choose which world you want to reincarnate into. There are an infinite number of worlds for you to choose from. Anything you can imagine, there is probably a world for it. So, what have you always wanted to do in your past life. Any dreams? Any ambitions?"

Reincarnation, wow it sounds like something from a manga or an anime. It started because of that isekai and truck-kun craze. Wait did I get hit by a truck? Was it truck-kun? Never mind, who cares, I'm dead anyway. Now where should I reincarnate into. Is there an anime world?Like a world with a bunch of anime's put together. Something like the Marvel Cinematic Universe of anime. Oh! Is there an anime world with my favorite anime, Kuroko no basket.

"Seems like you really like anime huh. Yeah, there is a world but the people there are pretty overpowered. I'm seriously not kidding, nearly everyone important there has some sort of special ability or something. Well if you want to reincarnate there perhaps I should give you some advantages as well. Let's see , considering your past performance in your previous world and the fact that you died at a young age, maybe I will allow you to keep your memories. Perhaps I should give you a special ability as well, you have anything on your mind? Nothing too special or crazy though, like being a superman."
