Roman's left eye twitched furiously and he groaned under his breath. "You the one to talk as if it would have been the same outcome if you'd been in my shoes."
"Well, I wasn't, so you shouldn't assume." Nikolai laughed. "In the end, you were the one on the floor, not me. So, don't you ever stand in front of me again and try to intimidate me with your big frame."
"It won't and will never work!" He flicked the man on the forehead.
Roman smacked his hand. "Something is definitely wrong with Adeline. But that aside, I'll still make you apologize even if it takes me a year."
"Stop dreaming." Nikolai scoffed. "You're not a fucking child."
"This is why I don't like you." Roman gripped him by the hair and slammed his face into the back of the car seat.
