"Well, now you know." Caesar let out a soft breath and hunched to drop his jaw against her shoulder. A growl rumbled in his throat, and Adeline quickly turned her head to look at him. "Oh, no, no, no, don't you think of it!" She could see his glistening canines on display.
"Why not?" he asked, genuinely curious.
"What do you mean, why not?" Adeline glared at him, the nastiest scowl on her face. "There is no space for you to bite, left!"
"What space are you talking about? There is no need for space." Caesar grinned at her.
And knowing she wouldn't be getting out of this situation, she grunted, throwing her head to the side to expose her neck to him. But before Caesar could even get to bite, someone suddenly knocked at the door, which caused his entire mood to drop.
The smile on his face vanished in an instant.
He turned his head to the door. "Who is it?"
"Sir, it's Yuri."
