While she was cursing Henry internally, she heard him say indifferently, "Do you know how much energy I need to control the giant Stevens Corporation? Do you know that I don't sleep more than six hours a day? And do you know that I have never gotten to bed before dawn?"

Charlotte: "..."

"So," Henry elegantly cut the steak with a knife as he said, "pain and gain should be proportional."

Charlotte was dumbfounded by Henry's remarks.

"Ugh, President." Charlotte had to change the subject. "You're having breakfast now, so let's hang up this video call. After all, it's morning there and night here."

"No." Henry said, "I will go to a meeting after breakfast. I will run out of time later. I want to see you now."

Charlotte was shocked.

Could it be that Henry had gotten up early in the morning and called her before he had any work to do?

Charlotte stopped talking immediately.
