All You Had To Do Was Stay

In the room, Alejandro was conflicted with what clothes he should wear.

He picked a black shirt but, his head tilted as he looked at it.

"Tsk."

He struck on his lower lips and, put the shirt back in his luggage.

He placed both hands on his hips, "What the hell wrong with me?" he asked himself.

He had never been like this, he usually wears whatever his hand-picked but right now, he was acting like a girl that could not choose what to wear.

He harshly grabbed a shirt and put it on. He zipped the luggage and about to leave when he noticed a message notification on his phone.

His eyebrow creased when he saw his mother's name on the screen. He opened the message and a deep sigh let out from his throat.

'I am going to Beijing. Meet me there after your vacation.'

He wrote the word yes and turned his phone off. He doesn't want to ruin this vacation for his family drama.

As his feet made its way towards the backdoor where the lake was located, his eyes caught the light in the dining room.

"Is that Selena?" he asked, wondering if Selena is in the dining room.

When he entered the room, his eyebrow rose by itself. He found three bottles of wines on the table.

He curiously walked towards the table, there was a paper on the table, tainted with wine.

He picked it up, and as a doctor, he clearly knew what was written on it.

His eyes widened, heart crushed as he rushed out of the dining room.

"SELENA!" she called out her name. Loud enough for his voice to resound around the quiet place.

He went back to the lake but, she was nowhere around.

His chest rose up and down, he was not familiar with the place and when they landed it was almost dark so he doesn't know how big the island was.

"SELENA!" he called out her name again, this time louder.

His heart pulsated, afraid of what could she have done to herself.

When he stopped calling her name, he heard the sound of bubbles coming from the lake.

His eyes went round, Selena's slippers are floating in the water.

Without thinking, he ran and swam in the lake. He doesn't know how deep it is, or what kind of animals are there in the water but Selena's figure drowning was stuck in his mind.

He dived in with open eyes, it was blurry, he could barely see anything.

Feeling the air in his mouth fading, Alejandro decided to get some air.

He gasped for some air, and then dived in again. This time, his eyes have gotten used to the dark, he looked around, despite the inflammation his eyes felt for having the water and sands inside, Alejandro was determined to find Selena.

But there was no sign of her aside from her slippers that were still hovering in the water, he floated up again to get some air, and when he did, he saw the figure of the woman who has been in his mind.

She was standing with a blanket over her body, body was soaking, water dripped from her hair.

Alejandro swam like a fish towards Selena. When his feet felt the sand, he fled to her and as he paused in front of her shaking body, his hand pulled her waist closer while his head lowered to meet hers.

He didn't allow her to speak, he just locked her lips with his, kissing her intensely, shifting all his emotion to his lips, not letting her to even breathe.

His hands pulled her closer, then it went on her behind - gripping it tenderly while his tongue separated her lips and entered her mouth.

He heard her moaning, he was thinking of stopping but, Selena suddenly abandoned the blanket and encircled both hands around his neck.

With his hand on her behind, Alejandro lifted her in the air, when she wrapped her legs around his waist, his feet moved, he walked as his arms carried her.

He stopped when he reached the tree next to the wooden bench, he leaned Selena's back against the tree while her legs stayed around his next.

Despite the cold wind whistling, his body was heated, he felt his arousal rising rapidly – matching the beat of his heart.

He paused and pulled his lips from Selena, her eyes were closed, he could see her long eyelashes, the mascara stained on her cheeks.

Seeing her eyes slowly opening, Alejandro drew closer and locked their lips together again and this time, his kisses were tender, relishing her soft lips.

He could feel her hands entering his wet shirt, slowly caressing his back and her warm hands had made his skin crawl.

He parted his lips from her once again and gazed deeply at her face.

With one hand supporting her body, Alejandro lifted his other hand to rub her face.

He gazed at her beautiful face, she was looking back at him.

"Don't do that again," he genuinely said in between his heavy breathing.

She just nodded, and he felt her unwrapping her legs around his waist.

He put her down and, gave her space by taking a step away.

Suddenly, Selena grabbed his hand and dragged him back in the house.

He just followed her wondering what she has in her mind.

When Selena stopped in one of the bedroom doors, Alejandro gulped hard, she hauled him inside and locked the door behind her.

When he heard the sound of the metal doorknob clicking, Alejandro turned to face her only to see her with nothing except her underwear.

"Selena!" he faintly called her name. Selena's cheeks were flushing, he's unsure whether due to alcohol or because she was shy but, his eyes find her so charming.

He smirked at her, he's certain that Selena is wasted, with all the alcohol he found in the dining room and how fast she drank it, he knows that the effect was much more than normal.

He snickered and carried her naked body. Slowly, he lay her body onto the bed, when Selena was about to drag him closer, he swiftly took the blanket and covered her body with it.

Seeing the disappointment on her face, Alejandro chuckled.

"You're cute and I'd love to eat you up but, I want your father's blessing first. So," he halted and jab her forehead with his index finger.

"Sleep before I change my mind," and without waiting for her reply, Alejandro turned his back and walked towards the bathroom.

He needed a shower, a cold and long shower.
